We stayed at the hotel the week before Christmas with our two young boys in the king suite. The room was the perfect size with lots of space for them to play. The kids slept on the pull-out quite comfortably, leaving the plush king size bed for Mom & Dad! They were quite excited about the jacuzzi tub, and really enjoyed the pool with the super fun slide. The staff was welcoming and courteous, and really helpful in providing us with information on the best deals to visit one of the indoor waterparks in town. Great hotel right in the heart of everything. Easy walk to several restaurants (we chose Mama Mia's)! Grandma and Grampa had the same suite upstairs, which provided a great place for us to have a pre-Christmas family celebration and gift exchange. Lots of room for everyone!

Our family planned to have an early Christmas for our side of the family. Our son is a resident of Niagara Falls and my daughter & her family travelled 7 hours in a snowstorm to get together with us.
We booked two of the hotel's newly renovated rooms and were pleasantly surprised at the spacious room assigned to us.
The room had a jacquzzi and a fireplace which allowed me to hang Christmas stockings for the grandchildren. Turning on the gas fireplace gave the room a homey feel and was a great atmosphere for opening presents.
We all bundled up and walked 2 blocks to a fine Italian restaurant which was enjoyed by all. Along the way we passed several fine dining restaurants and several more familiar facilities.
To top off the evening, we luxuriated in the jacquzzi.
The next morning the grandchildren enjoyed a swim in the hotel pool.
It was a short visit but the hotel provided all that we had hoped for:
spacious accomodations; comfortable bed; activities for the children; and convenient eating facilities.
All in all it was a great get-together.

the location was great you are close to everything i have sever back problems and was able to get around everywhere very easy. the falls are a short 2 blocks and you are in the heart of the entertainment area of the area. tons of resturants and tourist areas to visit this is a very safe location 24-7. the hotel was very clean and the staff was more than helpful in getting to you daily jaunts. the price is also very reasonable at this site if you plan ahead. i called 2 different times and go even better prices each time. they have a nice weight room and pool but htere is no time for that there is so much to do with in 2 blocks of the hotel.
this hotel is what vacations are all about everything in walking distance. we di not even need to drive elsewhere because it was alll RIGHT THERE..... have fun we sure did
ps september is a great time to go the crowds are very low and you get to do what you want when you want no lines anywhere

Most disapointed with the price hike (more than doubled) for a Friday night compared to a Thursday night. The noise from other very rowdy guests who were fighting in the hallway terrified our daughter. Complaint to reception in morning did not even raise an apology. Will definately not stay here again.

Room was non smoking but reaked of smoke, bed was the worst I ever slept in. Jacuzzi tub in room was broke and the jets would not turn on. Toilet paper roll holder was broken. toilett took 15 to 20 seconds of handle pushing to flush. bathroom door was warped and are kids could not open it. then at checkout they charged us over 31.00 in undisclosed fees that did not appear on the original bill we signed for. worst hojos ever. Complained to manager and he laughed at me and said thats are rate and there is no way to adjust the bill. dingy old hotel.

Thank you for choosing to voice your concerns on a second venue. We again apologize that you do not feel the first response through Brand Customer Service was relavent. Your comments were addressed as the room did not smell of smoke. The beds in the rooms are all brand new mattresses as of February 2008. The issues that were brought to bear after your stay have been corrected, had they been mentioned at the time of the stay we could have rectified them then. The undisclosed fees were provided to you at check out and were the taxes on the room and incidental charges during your stay. These charges are based upon the purchases made and the applicable tax guidelines. We apologize for any inconvenience you feel these charges have caused you but they are a cost of doing business as they are required to be charged.

We rented 2 adjoining rooms for 3 nights, for our family of 5 and found everything to be what we needed. Kids loved the pool and I liked the whirlpool. They have a bus to take you to the falls and several other stops around town. [Parking at the falls cost $20.]
It met our expectations and there are restaurants within walking distance. Also the amusement area of Clifton Hill is just 1 block away. Staff was always friendly and helpful.

My boyfriend and I spent one night at this hotel, and that was long enough. This hotel seemed very old and in need of updates.

The first room we were given was very disappointing. Two beds in a very blah room. I felt as if I had entered an old rundown cottage. The good news is, that this was not the room I had booked online, so I returned to the desk and was given an upgrade to a king with a whirlpool tub. That room was much better, but still had an "old" feel to it. In both cases the rug was very ancient and still had remnants of debris from the previous occupants.

The indoor/outdoor pool/waterslide was the main reason for choosing this place, and it did not disappoint. It was fun. The pool is not as large as it appeared on the website, so it was a bit scary at times when people were using the waterslide and almost landing on unsuspecting swimmers below. The hottub was gross. I've never seen one with so much foam, or brown scum on the sides.

The elevators were also interesting. One in particular bounced at every floor. No need to pay money for a thrill ride on Clifton Hill! It was very unnerving . Both elevators were very slow, so we used the stairs quite oftent even though we were on one of the upper floors.

We didn't bother with the Denny's next door due to the ridiculous prices, so we did takeout from the food court in the hotel. The prices are higher there too, but not quite so outrageous.

The location is good. Easy walking to Clifton Hill, and the magic show is just around the corner.

I'm glad we stayed there to check out the pool, but I don't think we'll be returning.
