Well me and my Boyfriend stayed there for 3 nights and 4 days on Victoria long weekend May 16-19,
Pros: Has smoking rooms, spacious room, okay beds, clean washroom, flat screen, 5 min from the border, and of course 10 minutes walk from the falls,Nice Jacuzzi heart shaped tub.

BONUS: They upgraded our rooms to king Jacuzzi suite smoking (for free)! Thanks!

Cons:Broken and SMALL shower, No window(believe it or not this could be a smokers worst nightmare& kept my allergies going because there was so much dust on the ceiling) limited selection of breakfast (no bacon or even a sausage to call mine), Horrible connection for the internet, washroom needs some updating...

overall it was a okay stay, just the property could be a little better, but like the review title says, you get what you pay for!

Stayed here after getting a last minute deal for $50 a night on a mystery hotel "in Clifton Hill." Turns out not exactly there but very close, only a couple blocks. Wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. It was a clean, relatively large room. Wifi was a bit shotty but my US phone was able to use stateside towers (which it couldn't while in Clifton Hill) so I was thrilled. The breakfast was mostly bread/bagels/donuts with some fruit and yogurt but the breakfast area was so packed and hectic that we ate outside of the hotel instead. The pool area was clean and pretty much deserted. Front desk was super friendly. Elevators were SLOW. There is a beer/wine store a block away but the ice maker is on the first floor only - did I mention the elevators are all slow? Get ice on the way up. But seriously - $50/night was unbelievable for the quality of room. Would recommend even for twice as much.

We looked for deal on the Holiday weekend and found it. The location is great, right between the 2 casinos and walking distance to the falls and attractions. Sure the hotel is quite well worn but the beds were newer and very comfy and clean. The rooms were really big. The water pressure in the bathroom sink was crap. The free breakfast was just coffee, cereal, and bagels but it was enough. The pool was nice. The staff was ok. The parking sucked because it was $10 and 2 blocks away but as I said it was a Holiday weekend! All in, if your on a budget its worth the price.

this hotel was actually a very good surprise. I had originally booked the howard Johnson next to the days inn but had to cancel because they are a no smoking property so I booked another days inn close by, come to find out the room was also not smoking so I called days inn and they not only waved all the fees from that one and booked this one cheaper! we had the king bed hot tub suite and let me tell you it lived up to the name! we were given 2 $15 vouchers for ihop which was nice. the only real issue we had was with house keeping who day by day got worse by the 4th day they just didn't come so my husband wen down to the front desk and was like uhhh we have no toilet paper or towels, whats up with that? the lady at the front desk was kind of rude but the kid they sent up to change the sheets and clean up, whose name was Justin was great! he was super nice and cleaned everything up super quick. after that one complaint the people at the front desk were not as friendly as they were before the complaint but that didn't bother us. the room was spacious and not dirty. the pool and sauna looked very nice but we didn't have a chance to go in. wish there was an ice machine closer to us but it was ok, we stocked up on ice every morning. it is super close to all of the attractions. there was plenty to do around us! 10-15 min walking to both casinos, 10 min walking to the falls. there are a ton of restaurants on the street and it wasn't loud at all. it was so nice! we cant wait to go back!!!

Room Tip: room 707 was quiet, spacious, clean, and very nice!
