Purchased a Wagjag deal for this hotel. Had never stayed at a Super 8 before, so the impression I had was cheap low-end. I was pleasantly surprised by this property. Arrived early and was able to park for the day before check in. Upgraded to a jacuzzi room at check-in for $10. Got a room on the 6th floor. A bit of a hike from the lobby to the elevators, but there were other entrances from the parking lot. Room was large, quiet and clean.
Always say the cleaning lady cleaning the halls, or the pool area.
Pool area was well maintained and not too busy, probably since there were two pools (one indoor and one outdoor). There was also a hot tub and a sauna.
Hotel is in a quieter area than closer to the falls, but still within walking distance, plus there's a We Go stop right outside the hotel.
Would definitely return for another trip to the Falls.
our stay was very good. rooms good size, we had the suite with 2 queen size beds and so enjoyed having the 2 rooms. both pools were very clean indoor and outdoor. whirlpool could have better jets. we so had a wonderful vacation with our daughter,son-in-law and 2 grandchildren.
My stay was good, the room was very large and clean.
1) When I arrived very early in the morning by bus, I asked the staff if they could hold my luggage until I could check in, after a long wait and debate between the 2 clerks they accepted my luggage. Thank you again.
2) The first room I got was next to the elevator and the A/C unit on the 7th floor, with a constant very loud noise. When I asked for a new room, they gave me a quite room at the 6th floor without any hassle, thanks to a very nice staff member. Both staff members at check in were very friendly and nice.
3) At check out I asked another staff member if they could hold my luggage again until I leave at night, she was really rude, repeated that they do not have that policy, although I explained to her that they made one exception already (she actually belittled the other staff member, who was standing next her for taking my luggage at the first place) After a long argument and "call" to the supervisor I was allowed to leave my luggage again.
When I picked it up, I was greeted by the friendliest of all staff members, she asked how my day was and she gave me my luggage. The hotel would need more of her kind at the reception (customer service); she was the only one who really made me feel welcomed.
