We had a great visit to Niagara Falls and what better place to be than in the centre of all the action. Clean, quiet, enjoyable and affordable.
Room was fairly clean but needed a little freshening up....for a $89 a night hotel it was actually pretty decent. Just needed some paint fixes and some grime removal but nothing that would make me not stay there again. The room was actually roomy- with two double beds there was still room for a round table with two chairs, a desk area, dresser with good size TV, microwave & refrigerator. The beds and pillows were new but just not as comfy as I like. The front desk staff was accommodating and free breakfast is included at the Ruby Tuesdays right across the parking lot. There is also a nice Tim Horton's right across the street. Parking was free and you are a 5minute walk to the falls and you are right in the middle of Clifton Hill. The not good? You are right in the middle of Clifton Hill and it is loud and it goes on really late. As someone else mentioned there is a karaoke bar up about half a block or so and they have a huge speaker outside blasting- I'm kind of surprised its allowed. At 11pm at night you can hear it in the background though the A/c drowns it out a little. Also if you stay on the first floor you need to keep your curtains closed at all time as people are constantly walking by your room.
