Good clean hotel, very convenient to Clifton Hill and The Falls. Breakfast was average, missing fresh fruit, Some rooms had a view of the fireworks at the falls....remember parking is extra but there is plenty of parking onsite....all in all good value for the cost.

Thank you for your review of Quality Hotel Fallsview.

Just a note that parking at the Quality Hotel Fallsview is complimentary for our guests. A wonderful feature considering most of our neighbours charge for parking.

The hotel isn't much to look at from the outside, but I was pleasantly surprised by the room. It was nicely updated, tile in entry way and bath, hardwood floors in bedroom, cool sink and faucet, and interesting tile in the bath. The location is great, right in the middle of everything. The breakfast buffet was adequate, hard boiled and scrambled eggs, sausage, a variety of breads and cereals. There is free wi-fi, but it is anything but high speed, as they call it. Overall, a good value.

Some of our problems were not the hotel's fault it's more the fault of our expectations.

We had room 305. Our room was comfortable, but the carpet is stained and the sheets were plastic like. I would have liked better sheets. I think that now a days, all hotel rooms should have a refrigerator. A microwave in the room would have been nice too. Also each room comes with a laundry bag but the hotel does not offer laundry service.

The room's balcony overlooks the parking lot and does not have a view of the falls. From the balcony you can see the pool area and the bridge corridor that gets you fro the main hotel to the pool. The corridor is stifling hot as it is closed on all sides and is heated by the sun during the day.

The pool was nice. The water is a bit cool which felt good on a hot summer day of sight seeing. The hot tub was nice, warm and relaxing. The timer on the hot tub is quick and then you have to reset it. The pool area is private during the day as it is behind a one-way mirror, but at night, every one can see in.

A few things we learned during our stay. The IHOP up the street is very expensive ($50 for two people) and you're better off having the continental breakfast provided by the hotel. Don't think of the continental breakfast as anything more than it is...a FREE meal. We did find it to be a good, filling FREE meal.

Also there are a few restaurants in the casino across the street. From what we could tell, they are not ridiculously priced like the restaurants on "The Strip" aka Clifton Hill.

We just enjoyed a one night stay at the Quality Hotel Fallsview Cascade. We stayed in a tower room and were pleasantly surprised when we saw that we had a balcony and a beautiful view of Murray Street and the American Falls! The room itself was very nice, spacious and very clean. It was the first time we came across wood floors in a hotel room which is a definite plus. It comes with the basic amenities such as a flat-screen cable tv, free wifi, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, and hair dryer. The only thing that we thought was missing was a fridge. We used the ice and bucket that was provided instead. Also included is a substantial free continental breakfast which includes scrambled eggs, breakfast sausages, fruit, hot and cold cereals (even gluten-free cereal), yogurt, coffee, tea and juices and an assortment of baked goods. The hotel is a short walk to the Falls about a 10 minute walk and right across the street from Fallsview Casino. And yes, it is on a very steep hill! Many great restaurants within walking distance as well. All in all, this is a well priced hotel and we would definitely return.

This was our first trip to Niagara Falls, and we weren't sure what to expect when we got there. Everyone told us the Canadian side was the nicer side to stay, and we're glad we did!

This hotel was right up the hill from the falls (everything is up or down hill there, so wear comfortable shoes!), we were so happy to be able to walk everywhere and not have to worry about taking the car out and deal with parking.

The hotel is a little dated, but our room was very spacious and clean. We did not have a falls view, but we had a balcony which was a nice touch. We kept it open all night and having the fresh air and breeze was so nice while sleeping.

The bed was super firm and comfortable. We booked a queen room rather than a king in order to get a balcony, and I have to say I suspect the bed was smaller than a queen. Either way though, it was comfy and we were happy to see it after walking all around and up and down those hills!

The wifi was free and reliable, and they had a lot of selections at the breakfast in the morning. I'm not really into the continental breakfasts at hotels, but my husband was happy with it. He liked that they had some hot dishes.

We were only there for one night, so we didn't get a chance to use the pool, but they do have an indoor one with a hot tub.

All in all we were very pleased with our stay! There are definitely fancier hotels in the area, but for a budget price we couldn't have been happier with our choice!

This hotel met all of our needs. The location just couldn't be beat, easy walk to the Falls and Clifton Hill sights. It is a steep hike back up to the hotel from the Falls so be fair warned. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. No fridge but plenty of ice so we could use our cooler. The hotel is older and I found the hallways and lobby had an odd odour but the room did not which is all I really cared about. Breakfast was fine and there was plenty of space. Staff were efficient and helpful. Great value for the money. Would stay here again.

The positives that stood out for me were the friendly staff, simple but clean room, free parking and great location. The spacious breakfast room was comfortable and the variety of food was just right for us. We were four adults and the room was big enough for us -- the room had two full size beds and we added a rollaway.

The downside of this motel is that all the noise outside the room, overlooking the parking lot, comes through loud and clear into your room. I had a very unrestful night in mid-June 2014 because a group of girls from the U.S. had come up for the weekend and one of them was having a severe emotional episode with her travel companions. At various times all through the night she was outside swearing a blue streak about Nicole and yelling at her friend who was trying to calm her down. Not exactly the hotel's fault but frustrating that no staff person was available to manage their disruptive behaviour.
