The hostel is amaizing, staff are lovely and the atmosphere is great. The location is great no to close the Niagara circus and falls( Las vegas side) but enough to do it by foot or bike. The water falls are nice but not amaizing.
The hikking trails at the glen national park highly recommend it, also the winer with Adam and Niagara on the lake or cristal beach. Buffalo (usa) is just beside.
My favorite activity biking and hostel bike are brand news and really confortable, so for 25 $ u can have your bike all day long and discover Nigara by bike. ITS WONDERFULL. So if u coming the HI NIgara Falls can be one of your best option.

This hostel is different from other places yoy could stay at in Niagara, which if you don't like crowded places is a plus. However, it is quite far from the falls, you can't go walking, and on a saturday in summer there was no hotel atmosphere, even though they have a very nice patio. The rooms are quite good for a hostel, they even have a littel TV, only the one I stayed at was near the bathroom ad when anybody showered there was a lot of noise, so it was hard to sleep. Breakfast is good and you also have your kitchen and fridge to arrange your own meals.

Fantastic hostel. Neat dorms, enough showers and super friendly staff. Very lively hostel but not at all noisy. My room had A/C but didn't switch it on as it was very cool at night. Just opened the windows for fresh air. Lots of activities to do. Breakfast is great with juice, bread, muffins, milk, coffee, banana etc. You can cook as well. Its a good 30 min walk from the main falls but <5 min from train and bus station. Also, the PeopleMover bus stop is 2 min walk from the hostel. If you buy the Adventure Pass two days travel is included on the bus. The bus will take you to all the way to Table Rock. Wou

I booked a double female dorm. The hostel closes to VIA station though. When I arrived, I walked less than 5 mins to the hostel and I dont have to wake up early in the morning to catch the train back to Toronto Airport. However, I think the hostel is pretty far from the attraction areas which takes 20 or up to 30 mins walking along the River road to the Falls and other attractions. If you like walking, then it's good to stay here because it is far from crowded however if at night you would not want to walk back to hostel. If you think about the bus, the bus runs in every 45 mins so you better well manage on getting on and off.
Besides the location, I like the staffs here. They are very informative and helpful!
They gave me all information I needed to know and even let me had breakfast on the first day I arrived eventhough I didnt check in yet. They are very nice and welcome people from any other countries like me. For the double female dorm, I got lucky as I got a room for myself coz noone booked so i liked it though ;). Bathroom is ok and clean. They have warm/cold water temperature but the hair dryer seems not working. Anyway, I enjoyed my stay here and liked the staffs very much!

The hostel has an awesome staff, very friendly and always willing to help with everything. They make you feel welcome and try to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Locationwise the hostel is very close to the train and bus station. I was very happy to find out that I just had to walk for 3 minutes to get to the Hostel after a overnight bus trip from Boston. The Falls are about 15-30 minutes away (depending on walking speed), but it is a quite enjoyable and scenic walk along the river.

The rooms are small but clean. The beds were comfortable and every one had a seperate reading light. The toilets and showers are spotless.

The Hostel offers free pool biliard, tabletop soccer, darts and DVDs.

All in all a very cool location and a great place to relax. I stayed there longer than originaly planed and enjoyed every minute of it!
