Everything about our stay was wonderful!! Everyone was extremely nice. The view from our room 3209 was beautiful. I knew we were supposed to have a view of both falls, but it was spectacular. We arrived late at night so we did not get to see the lights for too long, but at lease we did get to see them. The room was very clean!!! The breakfast was unlike any I have ever seen before included with your room everything we ate was excellent. We only got to stay one night but we liked the valet parking because when we checked out they brought our car to us and got it loaded and they kept it parked for us while we got to go site see. To me to have the security was well worth the $20.00 per 24 hours. If we ever get to go to Niagara Falls again, we will definately stay there. To the Embassy Suites and everyone that helped us during our too short stay thank you for making it wonderful!!!!

Booked a King Size Fallsview suite with Hot tub through Travelzoo.com for a one night stay in April. This package was $136 for a one night stay in the Fallsview Suite, and included Managers Reception drink tickets (x2), full breakfast buffet the next morning and a $45 voucher for The Keg/TGI Fridays located right in the hotel.

We checked in, which was quick, courteous and friendly. Originally we had booked 1 King bed, however noticed that our room had 2 Queen Beds. We called front desk and they were unable to change us to a room with a single King, however offered us another voucher for The Keg/TGI's which we were more than satisfied with.

The room was spectacular, with amazing views and was incredibly clean and comfortable - more than ample space to stretch out and relax as we had a separate living area with Table and Couch, beautiful large washroom with a Jacuzzi Tub, and a separate bedroom with far reaching views and very comfortable beds.

Staff at the hotel, although dealings with them were limited to check-in/out, were very friendly and quick. Would suggest parking less than one block away at the casino. We paid $10 for the night rather than the $20 VALET ONLY at the hotel. The main entrance was always incredibly busy and would not want to guess how long the wait was for service.

Had dinner the first night at the Keg Fallsview with our first $45 voucher (beer/alcohol is NOT included with these) and the food and service was excellent, as is the case every time at any Keg I've ever been to. Would be advisable to make reservations ahead of time - as I did the day before on the website for the Keg Fallsview. Wait time was 1 hour plus, but we waited 10 minutes thanks to prebooking!!!

Breakfast buffet was served the next morning in the Keg facilities. Absolutely the best breakfast buffet I've ever had in a hotel! Warm foods such as bacon/eggs/sausage, etc and even a make your own omelets prepared by the staff there was a great touch. Cereals, fresh fruits, yogurts, juices, and on and on! So much choice!!

With the second voucher we received due to the mix up with the beds in our room, we decided to use this for lunch at TGI Friday's. We checked out and loaded the car, then went back for a bite before heading home. Food was decent, certainly nothing to call home about but the prices are insane. Over $14 for a club sandwich and not even fresh turkey or chicken on it. But, was satisfied somewhat with the food. The bill came to about $20 as we each had a couple of beers; the food was covered by the voucher. But, once we received our AMEX statement, we had found the server charged us over $50 for the food? We called TGI's to speak with the manager who said they would look into it. The next day we received a call telling us that for some reason our original bill had been cancelled completely, and this new one had been written up - over charging us, and giving the server a nice little 'tip' for herself. Response was slow but we did get the false charges reversed, but found it funny we really didn't receive a formal apology or any form of discount/extra voucher we would be able to use at another time. Luckily we ALWAYS keep our bills so we can match them to the statement - if staying here I would recommend you going to another restaurant, as there are many of them around. TGI's is overpriced for what you get and this isn't the first time I’ve heard of this 'tactic' of cancelling bills and overcharging by them.

All in all, I would definitely suggest this hotel. Stay away from TGI Rip-offs though.

If you want an incredible view of Niagara Falls then you are going to want to stay at this hotel.

I took my partner to Niagara Falls for his 45th Birthday and we were both thrilled at the view from our room on the 37th Floor. The hotel room's windows are floor to ceiling in height and run the full width of the room. There is a small window panel near the bed that you can open to let in fresh air and to hear the roar of the falls.

I highly recommend that you spend the extra money for a Premium Falls View room. You will be able to see the American Falls and the Canadian Horseshoe Falls at the same time. You will also be able to see the Niagara Gorge with it's daily boat parade featuring the Maid of the Mist vessels. The other falls view rooms will only have a view of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls.

The Embassy Suites room was clean and had the standard separate bedroom / living room layout. The dining table in the main room was on the small side and served more as a desk than a dining table. The suite features standard tube-style TVs with the one in the bedroom concealed in an armoire.

Our suite featured a huge whirlpool bathtub. It was very deep and was wonderful to soak in after a long day of walking around Niagara Falls. The photo on the Embassy Suite's website shows a falls view from the tub area, but we were located too high to have a view of the falls from the tub. I would guess the lower floors 9-16 would probably have a view of the falls from the tub.

The shower is located in a separate "room" along with the toilet. The sink is a single basin, but there is another basin sink located outside the bathroom adjacent to the bedroom.

The queen beds are firm with three nice pillows on each one. There are no duvets on the bed, just a light blanket and a standard polyester bedspread.

As for dining options, The Keg steakhouse is located within the Embassy Suites Fallsview. It's on the 9th floor and has a nice view of the falls. The food is good and the dining room is stacked so almost everyone gets a view of the falls from their table. The other in hotel dining option is T.G.I. Fridays'. TGIF does not have the new "Right Size" menu as other TGIFs do in the United States. Remember, you are staying in Canada so things are a bit different. There is also a Starbucks located on the main floor of the hotel where you can get your caffine fix each day.

As for other dining options, I would go next door to the Fallsview Casino. There are a number of restaurants inside including a Johnny Rockets Hamburgers, a "healthy choice" style restaurant, a big Chinese restaurant and our favorite, the Canyon Creek restaurant. Canyon Creek has a nice view of the falls, but you have to look through some trees in order to see them. The food is Continental / California cuisine. Canyon Creek has much better food than nearby Applebees or T.G.I. Fridays and the prices are better, too. The service at Canyon Creek is also outstanding. Make sure to try the house special Manhattan.

The Embassy Suites Fallsview is a large hotel (42+ stories tall). The lobby is noticeably crowded around 4pm-6pm and especially crowded upon check out at noon. If you are a member of the Embassy Suites frequent guest program, make sure to request a late checkout in order to avoid the crowds.

The hotel is located a good distance away from the Clinton Hill area of Niagara Falls. Clinton Hills is very kitschy and has a several haunted houses, a Ripley's Believe It or Not museum, and other touristy places. The hotel has a shuttle which can take you to the Clinton Hills area of Niagara Falls. There are also a good number of taxi cabs, too. We took a cab from the train station to our hotel and I think it cost about $10 for the ride. Cabs to the Buffalo Airport cost about $80. The Niagara Airbus offers shuttles, but if you want to avoid the crowds and travel without others consider hiring a private limousine. We used Jewel of Niagara Limousine service to go from the hotel to the Buffalo Airport. It cost about the same as a cab ($84 for two people). The car was a beautiful white Cadillac sedan. The driver (Laurie) was delightful and was at the hotel at the specified time. She was professionally dressed and extremely courteous. The drive to the airport was about 45 minutes plus an extra 15 minutes to get through Customs at the border. Laurie mentioned that Customs crossings can take up to 2 hours during the peak summer months.

No problem finding the hotel, like the valet service but had to wait 25 minutes each time to get our car . Thought I had booked a room with a view of both falls but was stuck in a corner and could only see a portion of the Horseshoe Falls. Called desk and they offered to give us a different room with both views for $30.00 more a night but only had a king bed in the one room and we had a party of 5. Little pricey the 2nd night being on a Sat. but worked out well as we all ate breakfast which would have cost us a$100.00 if we ate out. Breakfast was good, nice view from the restaurant but very busy. People rude and reaching in front of you to grab something from the buffet. Would not go during a very busy season. Pool looked nice, comp. managers reception is a nice option. Hot tub very nice, as well as being a spacious room. View o.k (better than at home). Maid service very good, comfy beds. Would stay again.

WOW – we thought this was a great hotel and a good value. The walk from the hotel to the falls was just down the hill. We were on the 30th floor and had a great view of both the American & Horseshoe Falls.

Room: Much larger and newer than I expected. The shower was separate from the tub and there were 2 separate sink areas for getting ready. With 4 women (mom and 3 sisters in 1 room) that was helpful and important. I slept on the sofa sleeper and was surprised that it was actually comfortable. The beds in the bedroom were also very comfortable. Lately, a lot of the Embassy Suites I’ve stayed in have been somewhat dated but this one was in really good condition.

Pool & workout area: Nice. We didn’t visit the pool but it looked clean and was not busy. The aerobic equipment is updated with the individual cable TVs but the overall workout room is small.

Concierge and valet staff: Very helpful. We didn’t experience the long wait with the car that others did.

Business Center: Complimentary with 3 computers so checking in online for the airport was simple and hassle free.

Elevator Wait: I think the week-ends would be very busy, however it was fine during the week.

Noise: I’m really big on noise and our floor was extremely quiet.

Breakfast: Not that great unless you need order an omelet to get a good hot breakfast.

All in all, I’m quite surprised with the recent reviews as I was very happy with our room and the hotel overall. We had 4 in the room so I wanted to not be cramped and we were not. Also, the view is worth spending the money on. Being close to the falls also was a huge convenience for us. We left on Saturday and the hotel did get busy on Friday night so maybe that is why we didn’t experience some of the wait times and noise that others have talked about. However, I’d still stay on the week-end for what we were looking for which was view, spacious room and close to the falls.

I stayed over a weekend using Hilton points. We booked a City-view room w/ and got a City-view room. I think they may have upgraded us to a higher floor to be nice. Some of the (other) reviewers had great views, and that could have made a difference for us, so take this review with a grain of salt. The hotel was very crowded (it's about 42 floors), and there seemed to be mild panic among the guests whenever free food was involved. It felt like there were a lot of big groups and a lot of big families (perhaps some of the loudest families I have ever heard in my life). I'm not sure if any of the other nearby hotels are much better, and if you want to save some money, just stay at one of the motels that are about a 10 minute walk from the Embassy Suites (fyi, the Marriott and Sheraton Fallsview are literally right next door). The breakfast (included) in the hotel was pretty awful (not prison awful, but several steps below what my college used to serve -- maybe "middle school awful"). For dining, your best bet is Tony Roma's and Outback Steakhouse -- both across the street. Don't spend too much time by Niagara Falls -- the wine country is much, much nicer.

We drove for nine hrs and my husband requested a hotel that he wouldn't need the car for again. Embassy Suites was wonderful.
We arrived on a Sunday and the three of us (nine yr old son) piled on the king size bed and watched the fireworks over the falls. We could see both comfortably. I talked directly with the hotel when booking to make sure we had a full falls view. The Incline railway was across the street and a couple of bucks to ride all day. We then got the People Movers across the street from the railway and rode for one price all day. It drove the length of the Niagara Parkway. We stopped at all the major attractions and Cliffton Hill. The only day we needed the car was to go to the USA side and then we went to Niagara on the lake and stopped at Fort George. I loved having a separate room for hubby and I and our son loved having his own tv. The bathroom was large with a jacuzzi tub which helped after a long drive. Free breakfast and cocktail time. Pool was good for son. We didn't use the shuttle at all or any hotel "tour packages". Got some AAA books and did our own thing. Had a great time and loved the hotel.
