I purchased a Groupon for our two night stay. The manager couldn’t find the reservation and refused to give me a room unless I paid again. I had showed him my confirmation and bank statement saying I had already paid. He refused to help further. Later a staff person found the reservation and was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable and had a Falls view room. Parking is $50 per night so come prepared for that. They did give multiple food vouchers for local restaurants which was nice. Because of the terribly rude manager I will never stay there again, but the hotel itself was very nice. I would definitely have given a higher rating if the manager had shown any kindness or respect at check-in. His attitude is not what I have come to expect from Embassy.

Such convenience. Easily within Walking distance of everything you need to do in Niagara Falls.

Hotel was roomy and clean. Some things needed some maintenance- the wallpaper was peeling a little and my bathroom door wouldn’t lock. In the hotels defense, the room next to us was undergoing maintenance, so our room may have been due next.

The view is spectacular. You can enjoy the falls from your room if you get the falls view. Staff very friendly (with the exception on one very rude omelette lady at the breakfast buffet).

We slept with the curtains open and had a perfect view of the falls. A beautiful honeymoon spot! Breakfast and happy hour included! So close to the falls which made walking around easy. Wine tour was booked through the hotel and that was fabulous! You got a ride to 4 different wineries!

Can’t deny we had a great view over the falls from the 42nd floor but that’s where the goodness ends. Breakfast time is a free for all shambles and the queue for eggs was beyond ridiculous. Vouchers for complimentary drink and some snacks in the afternoon... sounds great right?... well it wasn’t, nothing short of a cattle market offering a limited choice drink in a small plastic cup and wait for it...... raw bloody carrots, pretzels and crisps with a strange dip.... truly horrendous. But worst of all was the rip off parking, DO NOT fall for the parking charges when you pull up. They say $50 a night (not only is that in US dollars and not CANADIAN, so mind the exchange rate, but they also conveniently forget to tell you that it is plus tax (so $70) and they park it in a bit of waste land that does not strike you as secure. Do yourself a favour, there is a gift shop opposite the entrance to the Hilton, park your car round the back, go into the shop and buy a ticket for a total of $20 a night and you can take your car in and out at will.

The hotel location is great and if you pay for a room with view it is worth the price. The room has a fridge and microwave if you need such things.
What I do not get is the $70CAD parking fee and you have to call in advance so they can bring your car downstairs. We parked at the casino across the street for $25CAD however no in and out.
It is 2019 and they are still charging $9CAD per day, per device for Internet connection, really.
