Go slow. Stop and absorb the powerful feeling of the "Mighty Niagara". Descend with tact and "earn the burn" upon your return. My daughter and I have done it / loved it.
A fabulous return of your investment... take it in.

It’s really neat walking so close to the rapids. It’s scenic and you can read more about the rapids and area in the signs on the walk. All of us enjoyed this walk. The noise of the rapids and giant waves are worth going to see. In the fall the photograph booth is closed which was disappointing since we bought a photo package with our pass but we took our own photos.

I highly recommend White Water Walk while visiting Niagara. Just like being close to the falls and seeing the awesome power of the falls, White Water Walk allows you to experience the power of the Niagara River. The walkway goes right along the river and at some points goes right down to it where the water will splash up on you. My entire family really enjoyed this attraction and consider it a must do.

This experience was very special, a must try every time you go to the Niagara. We could just stand and watch the rapids for a whole day for their raw ferocity and power.

A little off the beaten path...I thought the view was great, much different than the falls. You will get your steps in....peaceful and fun!

Most people visit the Falls for the "Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh" wonder of the water going over the rocks and spilling below in a thunderous roar and it is indeed spectacular, but there is a lot more to the Falls. A short walk away is a stair the takes you through a delightful descent and pathway that runs along the Niagara river. This walkway allows your to experience the whitewater rapids deemed too dangerous to allow rafting of any kind! And when you view them, with the bone crushing roar of the water, huge boulders, whirlpools and crests of foam, it will become a special addition to your Niagara visit! Enjoy!!

Class 6 rapids up close. Fairly peaceful. In the off season, as a local, I love just going down for a walk on the board walk and watching the water.

This is well worth the money. When you walk out of the walkway onto the boardwalk you will be amazing at the power of the water. Everyone can see the falls which are impressive. However to see the water so close its breathtaking. Definitely check out the white water walk if you are in Niagara Falls. Friendly staff. My Tip is parking is free with admission so park go pay for admission then take the parking pass back to your car and parking is free. Enjoy!

We had a great time on this walk. There are several sections with stairs and the walk is similar to a boardwalk. Not great for those with strollers or for those with difficulty ambulating. I would suggest planning to enjoy the views from the first section if that is a concern. There are several areas along the way with opportunities for photos.
