Great to see Winter displays of poinsettias during the holiday season. We were so glad to see the additions of the Cullen Garden miniature homes / buildings - brought back warm memories of youth!

Thank Sara H

Beautiful displays in the greenhouses. However you are only allowed in three small areas so it doesn't take long to visit, certainly not for the additional $5 charged for parking

The Showhouse, located within a small park, is the highlight of the experience. The outdoor portion of the park features walkways that wind among rose gardens and herb gardens. You can catch the green line of the WEGO (bus line) system just outside the park. Back to the Showhouse...this indoor garden is even more lush than the Butterfly Conservatory (see my review!). It features a lovely gift shop in the area in which you pay your entrance fees. As you step from the gift shop area, notice the lovely and fragrant orchids. Walk into the Showhouse and the temperature goes from A/C to tropical. There's a plethora of flower varieties. I walked through it twice and sniffed some of the more fragrant flowers over and over. I could have stayed in the Showroom for hours, despite its extreme warmth. The Showhouse has a small waterfall, which was being enjoyed by two small birds on the day we visited. There are tropical flowers, herb plants, flowers you'd find in your own garden at home, and cacti, all creatively blended to contribute to the visitor's experience. I also noticed two "corpse flowers," those highly stinky plants that emit a "dead animal" smell. Luckily, neither was in "bloom" during our visit. Escape from the hectic crowds down the road at the Falls, and enjoy the beauty of the Floral Showhouse.

This was a nice change of pace from the Falls hubbub for those who enjoy plants. Although the greenhouses were small compared to many major cities they contained enough interesting plants to hold our interest for over thirty minutes. The grounds were very nice for a walk with convenient benches. At a leisurely pace about an hours visit should be planned. There is pay parking as well as an admittance fee. Restrooms inside only. This is a wheelchair accessible facility and would require a wheelchair or motorized scooter. For those who enjoy plants.

I just came back from the Botanical Garden and this place is very small but beautiful. A lot of interesting facts about different plants. The only thing I regret during my visit is that I was not able to witness the blooming of the prized plant inside the floral showhouse. Beautiful flowers.
