The Country Inn and Suites, centrally located in Niagara Falls, walking distance to all those garish attractions one associates with Niagara Falls and just a block off the 420. Which makes it very convienient to get in and out of. There are plenty of resturants within just a block or two. We didn't get a chance to eat at the Sandstone Grill next door but heard glowing reviews from locals at the wineries in Niagara on the Lake. We did try the Monticello Resturant a block away on Victoria Ave. The Chicken and Sausage Gumbo with Baby Greens and Bocconicini made an excellent late meal. The front reception staff was friendly and helpful, pointing out the location of banks and dining. Of course in a busy hotel there are hallway noises but nothing to complain about. The only issue would be the continental buffet breakfast and we were late arriving so selection was limited and there were line-ups for toasters. I might suggest better commercial grade toasters that would increase the turnover and reduce those line-ups.
I would certainly stay again and suggest it to anyone.

Spent 2 nights here with the family. On the positive side, nothing but praise for the staff. They were great to deal with. The price of the room was very favorable for the area. Good location. Right across the street from the Fallsview waterpark, a very short walk to the Clifton Hill area. Falls themselves are also within walking distance. Hotel has nice parking lot ($6/day extra). One of the larger indoor pools I've seen in my travels as well.

On the downsides I did find the walls to be thin...or should I rather say it was one of the noiser hotels Ive stayed at recently. Not sure what was up with the plumbing but everytime the folks above up flushed their toilet or took a shower it sounded like water was pouring into our room. The breakfast was okay at best, but I don't really expect much when it comes to hotel breakfast's.

Would have liked to have had Wifi but the hotel did not have that. Though they did have a wired option in the room. But that also ment only one device could be online at a time

All in all would stay here again in a heartbeat

We spent 3 nights at Country Inn with our baby boy and everything was perfect . Great customer service , friendly staff , clean and bright rooms , and breakfast was awesome . If we were to return to Niagara Falls , this would be our first choice.
Way to go Country Inn

My husband and I stayed here for a 4-day romantic getaway in late June of 2009 to celebrate his 50th birthday. Our hotel room met and exceeded all of our needs. In particular, the room was decorated nicely...not fancy but a clean "casual contemporary". We kept champagne chilled in the mini-fridge. The jacuzzi tub was REALLY nice and fit both of us at the same time without feeling crapped. We used it 1-2 times a day as it provided welcomed relief on our backs after coming back from our walking adventures. There was a microwave oven, coffee maker, blow dryer and guest toiletries provided for in the room.

The bathroom was very clean and the sink vanity was made of granite and looked stylish. We found the king-sized bed to be quite comfortable and the bedding was clean, comfortable and in good shape. As far as the complimentary breakfast goes, well, we tried it out one morning...just to see how it was. Honestly, it was pretty lame fare for adults but I'm sure families will welcome this free perk to help offset their expenses. Kids' tastebuds will think it's just fine but it was subpar for adults. We did not use the indoor pool but it looked clean and maintained from our vantage point.

Our room was well sound-insulated; we did not notice any noise coming from other rooms. All in all, we were very pleased during our stay and found the room to be a welcomed refuge after walking around all day venturing the falls and other attractions. The restaurant (oh, I forget the name now...but it's right next to the hotel...was just wonderful! Darn, I forgot the name.) When we return to Niagara Falls again, we will likely stay here again. I would highly recommend it, especially if you are a germ-phobe like I am. The room was really squeaky clean. The parking was reasonable.

TIPS: eat at restaurant next door, go on the Maid of the Mist more than once, visit Niagara-on-the-Lake; it's beautiful during June/July with all the flowers lining the streets; buy some ice wine from local vineyards; visit the Butterfly Conservatory/Botanical Gardens...check out the Niagara River rapids from the US side...they are breathtaking and part of Niagara's rugged beauty.

we stayed for 2 nights including NYE, and could find no faults at all. Very easy to find on arrival from Highway, lovely helpful check in staff. Nice walk down to Clifton Hill, and the falls, about 15 mins to main falls.

pool and hot tub were nice, and breakfast in the mornings was tasty selection of fruit, cereals, bagels, breads etc...

Was really impressed with this hotel, highly recommend it

we also ate at the sandstone, next door, and had the most amazing steaks, really great meal, and a reasonable price

There's not enough you say about the great time we had at this hotel! I will always use this hotel and chain from now on. I previously had a bad stay at a more expensive hotel, close to the falls but this on is still close and it's way better. Great bathroom (I have three small kids, two under 5), very clean and great sized rooms. We had two queen beds for the 5 of us, so we joined them together for sleeping and all was well. Comfortable rooms, terrific free breakfast, friendly staff, parking just $6 or public parking all around.

In the middle of winter, we were able to walk all of Clifton Hill with the kids (so close to everything). Would recommend this hotel to anyone. You have great views from the top floor.

Only trivial things were the in-room coffee makers need updating, noisy heating/cooling system (we unplugged it), loud noises from the shower. Otherwise, very quiet at night.
