Betty's was famously known for their Fish & Chips, so much so bus loads of people would go to the restaurant. Times have changed. Went there for lunch and ordered my usual 2 piece haddock fish and chips. I was very disappointed when my dish arrived. The portion was drastically reduced from fish to fries. There was little fish to batter ratio. I was eating mostly batter. I must say though, the coleslaw was still delicious. Service was quick, but it simply didn't make up for the lackluster meal. The price at 12.79 wasn't worth it at all. If you are over 60 they have a senior's special for 12.89. That includes dinner, roll, coleslaw and dessert - eat in only. Given I'm not over 60, the price and food wasn't worth the drive. I cannot recommend Betty's as being famous any more!
