Went there tonight. Was there a couple of years ago and it was awesome all over again. Suzie was our waitress & she was great. The food prices are reasonable. They have different specials 7 days a week. The fish tonight was excellent and so was the coleslaw! Can't wait to return!

We were suggested by our B&B tenant to have dinner at Betty's. Actually a good choice; but I think times for a great fish and chips (famous for that dish, as they wrote on the menu) are passed. Breaded salmon ordered by my girlfriend was absolutely delicious. Don't be cheated by their list! By the way, the white dry house wine is good enough also for an Italian couple.

Betty's was famously known for their Fish & Chips, so much so bus loads of people would go to the restaurant. Times have changed. Went there for lunch and ordered my usual 2 piece haddock fish and chips. I was very disappointed when my dish arrived. The portion was drastically reduced from fish to fries. There was little fish to batter ratio. I was eating mostly batter. I must say though, the coleslaw was still delicious. Service was quick, but it simply didn't make up for the lackluster meal. The price at 12.79 wasn't worth it at all. If you are over 60 they have a senior's special for 12.89. That includes dinner, roll, coleslaw and dessert - eat in only. Given I'm not over 60, the price and food wasn't worth the drive. I cannot recommend Betty's as being famous any more!

We were Visiting from UK,staying with family in nearby Welland . They Suggested we make a visit to Betty's for fish and chips..
We weren't disappointed..Home from home.
Great food,Great taste, and great friendly service.
The portion size was huge and no one else in our party could manage dessert but I had seen the Lemon Meringue pie being served to some fellow diners..when in Rome so to speak...I Just Had to have some....Yum Yum...huge sticky meringue with a great slice of lemon filling on a delicious pastry....definitely leave space for it if you dine here....
