“fear of heights”
Reviewed 30 June 2014

so i have a big fear of heights. the bus tour included dinner at the revolving restaurant at the top of the Skylon Tower. Cylon tower my nickname. Note the ONLY elevators to the restaurant are on the outside and the windows face out. myself and a few others in the elevator with me turned to the wall so as to note witness the accent. once up there the view is spectacular, not to be missed. the food was good. the service not so much. maybe because we were with a bus group we were treated rudely and gruffly by the hostess. so no excellent review. got to see the mist from the falls create rainbows good enough to photograph.

“Sunday Brunch”
Reviewed 30 June 2014

Sunday brunch is by far the most affordable way to see this attraction. The buffet itself is about what you would expect. Bacon, sausages, eggs, pancakes, French toast, cold salmon, salads, hot pasta, several other main dishes, and a large assortment of desserts. Coffee and juice are included.

You do need to make reservations, and I recommend taking the earliest possible reservation and getting there early as they had overbooked when we arrived. But it looked even busier when I left.

Although a window seat is not guaranteed, we asked for one and were told that we could take it as long as we promised to be out before noon so that they could seat their lunch crowd. That was fine with us, so our experience was even better than expected.

The staff were all courteous and visited regularly to ask how our meal was and top up our coffee. Easily our most enjoyable meal in Niagara Falls. I was worried that it might be a tourist trap like so much else in this city, but Skylon puts in the effort to make it memorable.

“Awesome dining experience”
Reviewed 30 June 2014

Came here and had a wonderful meal overlooking the Falls and the town. Timed it perfectly as our reservation was just before sunset so the views were just gorgeous. The food was great. Yes it was a bit pricey, but the experience and the view tops it.

“Decent price for a tasty view”
Reviewed 30 June 2014

We were a party of 4 adults and 3 kids aged 3-6. Factoring in the price of just going to the observation deck dinner was good value. The kids meals (prime rib, spaghetti, and chicken fingers) were plenty big for the little ones.

The adults had prime rib and salmon fillet along with dessert - all very satisfying.

I know the review is supposed to be about dinner. The view is self explanatory - if you like what you see at ground level you'll like it even more hundreds of feet above ground.

Reviewed 30 June 2014

Did the buffet, still was a lot of money for a family of five, but food was good, elevator ride up was cool and the observation tower views were amazing
