While we've been to Zee's many times and have enjoyed it, this time the experience wasn't quite as good as usual.
We had a 5:30 reservation, and we needed to be out for a show by 8pm. We basically had to speed walk a few blocks down the street to make it to the theatre on time. It really shouldn't take this long to get people out to the theatre. I don't mind a leisurely dinner that lasts a long time, but I think two hours is more than enough time for a restaurant to serve 3 courses.
The food was quite good, although my wife's pork was served under-temperature, and the spaetzle were overdone -- no, they were not simply cajun style. But since we had a $50 GC, it was a very reasonable meal.
I do enjoy their extensive niagara wine list. I appreciate it when restaurants support local businesses.
