“Great price, great room, great food!”
Reviewed 6 April 2009

My wife and I enjoyed a fabulous weekend together at Butler Creek. One of the key factors in choosing any suite is always the hot tub / jacuzzi tub situation, as my wife can't relax without a great tub to soak in. Butler Creek had both a fabulous jacuzzi in our ensuite and a great hot tub for public use. We had a spacious room, comfortable sitting room and very large bathroom all for a great price. The breakfast was wonderful, and more than enough. We are looking forward to returning, and are planning to make Butler Creek a tradition.

I usually recommend Butler Creek to anyone thinking of visiting Niagara area--it's a hidden gem. It's full of charm, conveniently located, and Linda's can-do hospitality and sumptuous breakfasts keep us coming back for more. My husband and I been to a lot of B&Bs, and this one tops the list, which is why we've been back 3 times. The suites are huge, tasteful, clean, well-priced, and so cozy and romantic. We've stayed in both the Carolina Balcony Suite (which has a sitting room) and the Tara Suite, which is a sprawling, beautiful space that's large enough for two families (it has 3 bdrms and 2 bathrooms, one with a whirlpool tub). Having a young daughter, the extra space has worked really well for us -- besides, Linda usually stocks little toy and candy surprises for children. Being in Hamilton, ON, we're fortunate that this travellers' paradise is just an hour's drive for us. So we will be back again and again!

My husband and I recently got married. Our honeymoon was planned for a week after the wedding, but we decided last minute to find a place in Niagara on the Lake for a two day escape to relax. We couldn't have found a better place. The room was stunning and extremely comfortable. The breakfasts were catered to our tastes and had many options. We spent a lot of our time at the b&b in the hottub on the back porch. Butler Creek B&B was the perfect romantic retreat for us! We'll be back.

Butler Creek is a gorgeous home set on a quiet street, but still close to everything in town. Linda, the owner, was most welcoming and was extremely knowledgeable about the town, its events, and its history. The back yard with hot tub is the perfect place to relax in, and the rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed. We absolutely recommend the cream cheese and raspberry stuffed french toast for breakfast! It is also the only B&B we've found that welcomes families with children.

My boyfriend and I and a couple friends of ours stayed in the basement Tara suite. It was a huge living space with two rooms and ensuite bathrooms (one with a whirlpool tub) a kitchenette and living room with fireplace. There was also a childrens room attatched to one of the bedrooms that we did not use. The rooms were fantastic, clean, comfortable and a wonderful romantic setting. For breakfast there was so many options and Linda was wonderful at catering to our every individual need. The hot tub was gorgeous to relax in at night, as well as the back porch gazebo and swing set. The location was wonderful close to all the amenities and trails to walk on. The house really feels like home and with Linda taking care of you, you are in amazing hands. She does everything she can for you and makes you feel more then welcome in her home. She gave us tons of information about restaurants to try out, vineyards to tour and gave us free tasting vouchers. The weekend was everything I could of imagined and more. I would go back to visit Linda in a heartbeat and plan to this summer.

We stayed at the Butler Creek B&B in March 2009 with another couple for 2 nights while we took in some shopping and vineyard tours and tasting.

The owner, Linda was an absolute joy. She has a wealth of knowledge about the area, attractions and what to and not to do while in Niagara-on-the-lake. She provided us with coupons/tickets to several local wineries, as well as recommendations for restaurants; both good and bad, so we wouldn't be disappointed.

We stayed in the Tara Garden Suite. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Both Queen rooms had private ensuite bathrooms, with bathrobes awaiting you on arrival.

The B&B is located away from the main traffic routes, so you don't hear a-lot of car traffic, as well it is outside the immediate city centre, though not far enough to prevent you walking in for some shopping. We took about 20 mins to get from the door to the main street.

The hot-tub in the backyard is a must try. When we stayed, the days were warm, but the nights still dipped below 0. Sitting in the hottub for an hour and a half or so perfectly ends an otherwise busy day in complete relaxation.

I would recommend this B&B to anyone
