We stumbled on this place, on our way to find a coffee shop downtown. As we slowed to turn the corner we saw something that looked as if it might serve coffee - and it had free, onsite parking, so we gave it a try. It wasn't even clear to us that it was open, but we saw someone sitting at a small table outside.
Wow. It was like entering patisserie heaven. Row upon row of delicate cakes and pastries. Yes, we got our coffee, but we also spent way more than we intended on a range of small goodies, and didn't begrudge any of the expense. You know quality when you see and taste it.
You could go in and simply pick up a freshly baked loaf of bread, or a cake. Or, like us, you could linger at one of the tables. It's primarily a bread and cake shop, but comfortable enough to linger to eat and sip tea or coffee.
