Five of us spent 3 days in the lovely Canterbury Inn. Perfect location in a lovely setting, easy walk to the centre of Niagara on the Lake, beautiful backyard garden for enjoying a glass of wine after a day of theatre, shopping, etc. Innkeeper Julie and her husband made a point of making sure our stay was perfect. Excellent continental breakfast. Our one request for a future visit would be a coffee maker in the rooms.

The Canterbury Inn in NOTL is the best place to stay while in NOTL. The staff is very friendly and can recommend good places to eat. The owners Julie & Bud are the best. We have been staying there for over 10 years when we make our trip north to Canada to the Shaw. We highly recommend this quaint inn.

The place is a short walk away from the busy street, and offers charming rooms, a beautiful garden/fountain in the back, and a spacious room to play pool. Breakfast is simple in the morning - various items to toast, juice, coffee, tea, yogurt - but honestly, there are so many great restaurants in the region, you probably want to save yourself for lunch at a winery. Beds were comfortable, and the wifi was free. Parking in the back too. All in all, a great little inn that is well managed.

Room Tip: There are rooms with fireplaces and rooms with patios. Ours had a patio facing the back and it was...

I've had an annual visit to this clean, comfortable and inviting Inn since 2002 and am delighted to be able to add my 2 cents! The folks who own and run it couldn't be more personable and eager to please. It is inviting at first glimpse with it's flowered exterior. Inside it always appears to be freshly painted or newly wallpapered. Well located, not in the shopping area yet a very short ride or reasonable walk from there and to the theaters. Continental breakfast casually shared with interesting folks(many whom I've met in prior years) is indeed a bonus! The gorgeous garden in the back is an unanticipated surprise where one can sit and read while taking a break between shows. I've already booked for 2014!!

Room Tip: Rooms all just a bit different in size and furnishing; only 2 floors and ALL are quiet. I happen to...

Large bedrooms with twin beds, decent bathroom and a good location make this inn a perfect place to stay when in the area. The breakfast is mostly sweets with some bagels, English muffins, scones and fruit. The personnel are gracious and helpful.

Spent a wonderful weekend with friends. The inn was only a few blocks from the center of town and within walking distance. We were greeted by wonderful personnel and our room was very clean and comfortable.

This Inn is exceptionally clean, quiet, and just a couple blocks from town and Niagra Lake/Lake Ontario. There's a great billiards room with games if you feel like staying up late and breakfast provided was heavenly. What's even better is the rates.

We've stayed here the past 4 years and if you visit in the spring/summer, the gardens and pond in the back of the Inn is beautifully maintained with places to sit, relax and enjoy.

Overall great place to stay at and very quiet too!
