Wine Country Bed & Breakfast

Hosts Jeff and John are wonderful hosts and go out of their way to make you feel welcome, including providing bikes to ride on the Niagara Parkway. Breakfast is a four course meal with plenty of time to leisurely enjoy the view from the front veranday. This is a must if you are planning to visit Niagara on the Lake and want to stay at a 5 star B and B.

My husband and I recently spent a night at the Wine Country B&B. The place was spotless and very nicely decorated. Very quiet, got a good night's sleep The hosts were very accommodating, lots of good tips and suggestions. Breakfast was to die for! I couldn't eat again until dinner! will go back!

The rooms are spotless, modern, comfy, and attractive.
The hosts are very sociable, give great advise on topics from cuisine, to tours, to activities, and even the history of the place.
And even if I did not stay there, I would go back for the breakfast!! Exceptional!!

The real test was the comments from the folks that were staying for an extended time, and they reported that "every breakfast" was exceptional.

Room Tip: Sorry...all the rooms were great.......no adise to offer here.

We have been going to Niagara on the Lake for about 15 years now. At first we stayed in a very pleasant inn on Mary St. Friends stayed at Wine Country Bed and Breakfast and recommended it highly. We tried it once and have stayed there ever since.

The three rooms are very comfortable and we typically rotate through them with friends on each trip.Eating on the balcony in warmer weather is great. The meals John and Jeff provide in the morning are the best we have ever had in a bed and breakfast. Fresh hot muffins with a fruit smoothie come first. I am not an egg eater and this has sometimes been a problem for some bed and breakfast owners. Not for John. He comes up with innovative and absolutely amazing sandwiches as an alternative. Many of our friends we go with now say they too prefer no eggs so they can have the sandwiches. Breakfast finishes with an inspired dessert of some type which is never needed but always appreciated.

We usually stay here 1-3 times a year. Aside from the great lodging and meals, Jeff and John provide great winery, restaurant and general Niagara on the Lake recommendations. As another reviewer mentioned, they always seem to be there when you need them and out of sight when you don't it.

As noted in the title, we wouldn't chooose to stay any other place. There have been a few occasions when we have not booked early enough and the rooms have not been available. We stayed in other B & B's they recommendedand enjoyed them but it's always nice to come "home" the next trip.

Jeff & john were the perfect hosts, there when you needed them and not when you didn't. Breakfast was 3 courses each morning with homemade, gourmet treats. The location is close enough to walk downtown, but quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed the balcony that comes with the Queenston Suite - it was beautiful and cool each evening. We never heard any of the other guests in the house. The price was very reasonable and a great value. I can't think of anything I would improve! We will be back!

Room Tip: Queenston Suite is a nice size with good closet space, large bathroom and a private balcony.

The friendly innkeepers were very accommodating with helpful tips to make this a wonderful vacation. The entire inn was spotless, comfortable, charming and welcoming. The beautifully presented breakfasts are deserving of a five star rating!!! If you like to bicycle, the innkeeper provides bikes that are in excellent condition to use in this bike friendly town. Cocktail hour and evening relaxation on the porch is a treat.
