“Ice Cream for Breakfast!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 April 2012

This is the first time I've ever felt compelled to write a review! My husband and I just returned home from a 48-hour stay at NOTL to celebrate our 15th Anniversary, and John didn't miss a beat in making sure that our stay was memorable and enjoyable.

Our room (#2) was clean, quiet, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. We slept really well!

The breakfasts were delicious! Seriously, we had ice cream on the top of a strawberry and rhubarb crumble that was not only a treat in itself, but also beautifully and thoughtfully presented! Breakfast was the perfect time to meet and share experiences with other guests as well as with John and Jeff.

For cyclists, a bonus in staying at the Wine Country Bed & Breakfast is that the bike path is right down the street and we were able to store our bicycles in John & Jeff's garage! We also appreciated the complementary, bottled water.

We hope to return and highly recommend the Wine Country Bed & Breakfast!

If you could conjure up the PERFECT place to unwind, relax and dine then 'Wine Country Bed and Breakfast' fits the bill! This is our 3rd year with the proprieters and we look forward to their culinary and hospitality expertise. We have travelled around the world for business and pleasure and Jeff and John offer up the best of the very best 5 star hotels that we have stayed in. A must stay in the Niagara on the Lake visit.

We stayed for one night and fell in love with the very nice amenities and the kind service. Would definitely stay here again.

As a plus the breakfast was several courses and outstanding. Pineapple and mango smoothies, yum!

My wife and I always return to this fabulous Bed and Breakfast to celebrate our anniversary. Our hosts were knowledgable about the activities in and around Niagara on the Lake and recommended various restaurants. Our room was spotless and our breakfast was to die for !! Let me just say we have already booked for next year and the summer !! Thanks Guys for making our anniversary a time we will never forget.

A friend and I recently spend an overnight away at Wine Country B&B and had a fantastic experience. The house is very lovely, all decorated in an antique-country feel. Our rooms were fantastic, and were greeted with little chocolates on the bedside! John is fantastic, very warm and inviting! Breakfast was just icing on the cake .... and incredible 3 course meal that even finished with a little desert .. who could ask for more! We will certainly be returning!

My boyfriend and I stayed at this charming B&B this past Easter long weekend and had a tremendous time! It was my first experience at a B&B and I have to say it was absolutely incredible. We stayed in the Queenston suite, which was lovely and bright and had a wonderful balcony overlooking the front of the house. John and Jeff were gracious hosts, the accommodations were impeccably clean, and John's three-course breakfast was divine - the best eggs benny I've ever had. Not to mention, we had access to a number of coupons for various wineries and restaurants in the area and we were a short walk away from the main strip where all of the shops and restaurants are located. It was a wonderful romantic getaway and I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting the region.

Last weekend, my wife and I stayed at Wine Country B&B for the second time and, again, we came away raving about it. It is impeccably clean and welcoming and, in addition, the hosts are very helpful in providing advice on area amenities including restaurants and vineyards. On their advice, we visited several smaller, less-known vineyards and were able to pick up a few excellent bottles of local wine. As with our previous visit, the four-course breakfast was amazing. Many thanks to John and Jeff for their outstanding hospitality and for making our visit to NOTL so memorable.
