Situated in the most beautiful town steeped in history was this hidden gem. A picture post card Victorian hotel with all modern convenience. Great service, nothing is too much trouble and the food was great.
The bed was one of the best I've slept in, fit for a Princess!

Perfect for a special occasion or just to treat yourself.

Room Tip: All rooms are nice but there are two parts to the hotel, so if you prefer to stay in the main building you will need to state your preference. My next visit I intend to book the Royle Suite, it you want a good view of the park/street then probably the first floor is best as the top floor the 3rd I think has smaller windows.

We were happily greeted by Katie at the front desk with prompt service and a lovely room, she really goes out of her way to make you feel special .We really enjoyed our time there as usual. We relaxed in the salt water pool in peace and quiet which was well deserved. We had dessert and drinks in the pub in the hotel and it was delicious and atmosphere so cozy. I cannot say enough about our experience its always extraordinary. Thanks once again prince of wales outstanding.!

Room and Hotel was top notch.
A superb customer service experience started with Bobby at check in.
The remainder of the stay was a friendly relaxed service oriented stay made possible by Fred, Kerri 2, Devin and of course Ryan at the Bar.

Well done!
We will be back.

Chares & Monika

Room Tip: We actually had the suite room 224. Great view of the activity on the street and park. Nice and quiet.

I recently returned to the Prince for the umpteenth time for a short getaway. During these times of "take it or leave it" attitudes often encountered in the hotel and restaurant industry, it is always refreshing to experience such a high quality of caring and efficient hospitality on a repeat basis. Obviously, it takes a well trained team of self-motivated people to maintain the constant high standard of service at this hotel. These people go to great lengths to make your stay more than what you expect and want it to be. They will organize wine tours, arrange theatre tickets to the Shaw Festival or provide any relevant information required to ensure a safe and enjoyable holiday here. Even the General Manager, Kelly E. works behind the scenes and has provided lovely welcome back treats to indicate the administration's appreciation for returning guests. What a lovely gesture, although I would come back even without these goodies.

As always, Bobbi G., the front desk manager, in the midst of her hectic schedule with so many people with whom to deal both in the office and out front at the desk is always upbeat, efficient and most accommodating. This time during my stay, I had the pleasure to make the acquaintance of Cooper, the front desk assistant manager. Like the other members of his team, he displayed a kind and efficient manner and responded promptly and competently to any and all requests I had. Upon checkout, as I was leaving, he actually inquired if I had enough water for my trip home and could he provide me with some to take along. Who does that? I also had a few treatments at the spa with Susan. She, along with everyone else could not have been more pleasant and efficient. I always hope she is available when I am at the hotel.

The hotel itself is amazing; besides being elegant and most appealing to the eye, it offers every amenity that one would want such as the spa, indoor pool which is kept immaculate, lounge and a fine dining restaurant - Escabeche,. A decadent afternoon tea is served in the picturesque tearoom. Don't plan on having dinner any time soon afterwards as the scones, pastries with cream and little sandwiches are a meal in itself. My husband and I will partake in this treat shortly when we return to the Prince on the weekend. The location of this hotel cannot be beat. Everything in town is within walking distance - restaurants, shopping, theatre, historical sites, etc. Great hotel for relaxation and replenishing one's energy! When you leave, you will want to return again and again.
