My friend and I booked this hotel for a girl's getaway. The location with beautifully kept gardens, an outdoor salt water pool, an indoor pool as well as a hot spring made it a perfect environment to relax and detach from reality. The staff was delightful. The added bonus was a wine tour by Trolley. The driver was knowledgeable and entertaining. It is a beautiful hotel.

Great place for couples, would love to return with my husband.

We went for a spa treatment as we were staying the weekend on Niagara. This is so close to NOTL town and located in a quiet neighborhood. The staff was excellent here and made our experience memorable. The overall spa experience was excellent and so relaxing with all the various pools and hot tubs around. Will definitely stay over next time.

I love NOTL. We always have a great time. Stayed over the fourth of July. The weather was great and my kids (girls 11 and 8) enjoyed the pool. Further from town than similar hotels in the same group, but we enjoyed the 10 minute walk into town a few times over the weekend. Enjoyed looking at the beautiful gardens and houses on our walks. A shuttle was available, but we didn't use it. Ate breakfast at the hotel--convenient and tasty, but the same every day. Coffee available in the lobby. Nice wine choices and friendly staff. Hallways very hot, and old noisy AC units under the windows that just didn't make it cool enough for us---but probably cool enough for most. We had a very nice time. We liked it and would stay there again. The pool made it more appealing to us.

At least our 10th stay at this property over the last 16 years and not our last.

A great place to stay while visiting the Niagara area. Away from the crowds and traffic, so the ambiance for sleep is not disturbed by vehicles rumbling by. I like sleeping with open windows (weather permitting) and most rooms at this resort have operational windows (a rarity these days).

Right across the road from this property is the paved trail that will lead you to the Bruce Trail along the Niagara River, go ahead and cycle, walk or in-line skate this track, it's smooth!
The rooms are clean, beds comfortable, pools clean and the food is adequate.
We love sitting around the outdoor pool on warm summer days and listening to the water fountain pouring into the pool. Poolside dining is available and their are plenty of lounging chairs.
The outdoor hot-tub with water fall is a great relaxer and tucked away in a nice garden setting.
A great place to hang for a few days and within a 15 minute walk to the main street of Niagara-on-the-Lake. We have stayed in many room types and never had a problem over the years.
Staff are great! Pool Hours a great: 7am-10:30pm.
Only 2 negative comments: a Resort Fee of $15+HST/night is added, a bit of a surprise to us this time around.
I believe this fee should be worked into the quoted rates or stated in a more upfront fashion.

Secondly the pool is used by an Aqua Fit class in the mornings and if you have a room facing it you can hear the class. Very little room is available in the morning for guests to use the pool.
Perhaps a partial rebate of the Resort fee should be considered by those guests that inconvenienced by this!

Room Tip: Their is a steam room in the change rooms downstairs in the Spa that is available to Hotel Guests. Also a Dry Sauna is subtly located next to the Indoor Pool. Most people miss these as their is minimal signage.

Front desk employees were very nice and helpful on every level, the shuttle into town was perfect with little wait, plus you can go to one of their sisters hotels to catch it also. Room was very clean and cosy. Only wish the spa would keep some appointments open for hotel guests, it was a last minute try but they were booked, but that's our fault.

Thank you for your favorable review. It is great to see that our efforts to provide our guests with a wonderful guest experience have been achieved. We appreciate all feedback and it is always nice to see a guest has enjoyed their time with us and in Niagara. We do encourage making spa appointments in advance, but we do sincerely apologize that you were unable to book any treatments due to a lack of availability. We do hope that in the near future you are able to enjoy the facilities in the spa and are able to have some time to relax and pamper yourself! Again, thank you so much for taking the time to write a review!
