Owner description: Andrew Peller was one of the founding fathers of Ontario wine; today his namesake winery remains a family-owned enterprise - focused around the grand winery, showpiece barrel cellar and gracious Peller Estates Winery Restaurant (helmed by Chef Jason Parsons). Food and wine pairing themes are mainstays in the chock-full seminar and event calendar. Peller Estates' full range of Private Reserve whites, reds and sweet wines by Winemaker Katie Dickieson are always rich and approachable, while the Signature Series features age-worthy reds, award-winning Icewines and the unique Ice Cuvee sparkling wines, sweetened with a touch of Icewine. Experience wine country at the ultimate wine and food lover’s playground with tours and seminars throughout the day, including Niagara’s only igloo-like lounge where you’ll don a Peller Estates parka and taste Icewine at -10C. Partake in a barrel cellar dinner, fine dining in the Winery Restaurant with Executive Chef Jason Parsons, or casual dining on the patio’s Barrel House Grill. Party in the Vineyard at the annual food truck event in spring and country music festival in summer.

I was visiting past Saturday and I had a blast! I want to thank all the staff, including Ling that was very courteous, was very knowledgeable about the wines, including the member club, which I became a member. The staff at the reception desk was also very kind, polite and very helpful. the wines were outstanding,I highly recommend this visit.

Just finished an extremely fun filled and informative wine tasting tour of the estate. Great wines too. Thank you to our guide Paula for making the trip worthwhile.

Our friends and I first ate at the out door grill, and it was fantastic food. Before we sat down, we asked for the Ice Wine tour so we would have plenty of time for the tour. Then we took the tour. Mark was great! He had a large group and we had the best time learning about Peller Estates, wine in general and the ice cave was super. Definately a must see.

This is the best wine tasting tour experience. Emily Beatty was our wine specialist on this tour. She brought us out to the patio and poured up an Ice Cuvée Rosé Sparkling wine as a welcome drink and explained to us the history of the winery and info about the whole place. We then proceeded to the vineyard where she pointed out to us the difference between the rows of grapes, then gave us information on how they plant, maintain, harvest and process the grapes while we were tasting a 2016 Vintage Rosé. Next, we walked down to the cellars where they kept some of the barrels. While there we tasted a 2015 Vintage Merlot as she was explaining to us how barrels make the wine taste different depending upon the wood and preparation. Last stop, the HIGHLIGHT of the tour - their newly renovated - much larger -10 Below Ice Wine Lounge. We were provided with Parkas good for -20 degrees Celsius to keep us warm while she explained the process of making Ice Wine. - It still is the best Ice Wine Tour in town. We finished the tour inside the store where we purchased several bottles. Thanks Emily for an awesome experience. Even if I have done this tour several times I will still always take my family/visitors here. By the way, try their Restaurant. Its a great place to have a very relaxed lunch or restaurant! 5 Stars!
