One of the best price value in the area (wich most room are really expensive). The room was ok, the only problem was the AC and the humidity in the room. When we first got into the room, it was hot and humid and had kind of a basement smell, even if were were ont the fisrt floor. Even if we did let the AC run to the max for quite a while (sorry for the eco-sensible) the room never got under 24 degrees and it was'nt that hot outside. Other than that, the staff was friendly, the room was really clean and the location of the hotel, right in the middle of merchant area is incredible, especially for the price. A really good experience.

We stayed at the Moffat Inn for our 40 anniversary and could not have been more pleased. The room and entire property was very clean and tastefully decorated befitting the historic locale. Bathroom was spotless with seemingly new fixtures. Very good location for enjoying all village activities and establishments and a great parking facility. Most highly recommend.

Room Tip: I'm sure all the rooms are fine. We stayed in a smaller room on the second floor in the front an...

My husband and I visited in June for a night - the room was very clean and comfortable. We had a sofa and a small patio. Great access to the shops. Parking is a bit tight, but each guest is provided a tag and the lot is reserved for guests only. This is a member of the Vintage Hotels family and is a more affordable choice to its big sisters (Pillar and Post, Queens Landing, Prince of Wales) during high season.

Spent several days at the Moffat Inn. Had a very positive stay. Centrally located, the inn is a short walk to shopping, dining and the Shaw Festival venues. Our room was on the first floor and had a small deck off the back. The room was clean with comfortable beds and soft towels. The staff was accommodating and very pleasant. I would recommend anyone with stair issues request a room on the first floor. If you are a newsie, the cable system leaves much to be desired, but if not the small, tube tv will be fine. The free wi-if is a plus. There are nice areas to gather and fresh coffee in the morning. Will stay here again!

Room Tip: Request a room on the first floor if climbing stairs is difficult.

Wow, it was larger than some apartments. I would return to book this room based on price and privacy. The location couldn't be any better when staying in Niagara on the Lake. The staff are very friendly and accommodating at the Moffit. We enjoyed the good value and cleanliness. Keep in mind it is a vintage property, but that adds to the allure.

Room Tip: If you require separate sleeping quarters, a kitchen, formal sitting/dining room, a balcony then boo...
