Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake Day Tour...

This was always my young nephew's favorite place in the Niagara region, when our family went to the Shaw Festival. Colorful soldiers in costume, lots of cannons and artillery, and a big fort to climb around on.

There is plenty to see and it's a good walk on a summer afternoon.

We stopped at Fort George on the way to some wineries and had a fun, educational experience. The historic re-enactors knew their stuff and gave some great information about the weapons of the day. We even saw a musket demonstration!

Be sure to bring the receipt for your parking fee to the admission desk as they will deduct the fee from your ticket price.

We enjoyed our visit at the Fort and it's history. There was a rifle demonstration and cookie making demo that day. Many costumed employees throughout to answer questions and give information. A great giftshop is on the grounds. Parking available for a small fee which is taken off the price of your ticket.

Excellent tour with lots of History. Explained a lot about the war of 1812 and the occupation of Niagara on the lake. Well worth the visit.
