Parliament Cottage B&B circa 1840
Reviewed 31 August 2012

We returned this year for our third stay at Parliament Cottage. We parked the car there on arrival, then for two days we walked to the Shaw Festival theatres, restaurants, and shops. The cottage is on a quiet street, away from the bustle of the main street with its tourist buses and crowded sidewalks. We enjoy strolling to see the many historic houses in Niagara-on-the-Lake. And Isabelle's homemade breakfast is delicious.

My husband and I just enjoyed one night and highly recommend for both comfort and food. Isabell was charming and helpful providing suggestions for less touristy spots to eat. We enjoyed a bottle of wine at the back patio with a pond beside a charming historic shed. It is a short walk to the main shreet.

Room Tip: Upstairs room with slanted ceiling. Lovely furnishings, comfortable bed, clean and well appointed en...

This past weekend was our one year anniversary of when we started dating. We started dating this date last year and also stayed at the Parliament B&B. We were so impressed by the cottage and Isabelle that we did not hesitate to rebook this year - we just had to stay there again. Isabelle is a wonderful cook. The breakfasts are simply scrumptious!! The rooms are very clean and decorated beautifully. Isabelle is a wealth of knowledge of the local area and can make great recommendations for sight-seeing and dining. The B&B is located a short walk from downtown. I highly recommend Parliament Cottage. It is now the only place we will stay when in NOTL!

Room Tip: Just give Isabelle a call. She'll help you in every way you need. She is a most gracious and c...

We have now stayed at Parliament Cottage B&B for 2 years running, and will return many times. Pleasant, clean rooms, absolutely delightful and well informed hostess, incredible breakfasts, quiet location within pleasant walking distance of all the main sites in town. Couldn't ask for more.

I have stayed with a friend at Isabelle's B&B for about 5 years. The quality of the rooms and the breakfast has not faltered! Wonderful. The rooms are lovely and imaculate. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful. The company delightful. I would recommend the Parliament Cottage B&B to anyone . Part of a fabulous mini holiday!

Room Tip: All rooms have their own bathroom. One room is good for a family with 2 children.

We stayed here in late May 2012, selecting this B & B because it would accommodate three of us in one room and it was close to the center of town. We were delighted we chose it. Isabelle made us feel very welcome; we enjoyed our conversations with her, learning about the history of the house and the area and getting her recommendations for a restaurant for dinner - which was perfect! Our stay was just wonderful all around - we enjoyed relaxing in the garden in the evening and admiring the many lovely flowers in her garden. Breakfast was fabulous - we couldn't possibly eat it all and appreciated Isabelle wrapping muffins up for us to take along for a snack later.
