Easy to book. Most friendly owners right on the premises who were welcoming and helpful in providing advice/hints to add to the enjoyment of our getaway. Scrumptious breakfasts and cookie treats. NOTL is a lovely area of Ontario with cute shops, a vast array of eating establishments, a plethora of fine, innovative wineries, and so close to the Falls and other outdoor surroundings. Must see -visit!

From the moment David greeted us at the door, we felt warm and welcome in this lovely b n b! The room, bathroom, sitting area was exactly what we needed, comfortable, inviting, clean and cozy. Gail's bubbling personality was full of warmth and interest. This couple enjoy what they do and it shows! We loved everything and the delicious gourmet breakfast was superb! Oh, and the location, could not be any better, just a few houses away from our favorite tavern! We highly recommend staying here. We will return often and promote it to our friends as well!

Room Tip: They are all good! Comfy beds with luxurious bedding!

I expected this B&B to be a little run down... it's an old house! They have done an excellent job keeping the charm of the old place but making it really nice and updated. Our bathroom was great, had a nice jet tub, new tile and vanity. Nice and quiet at night and really convenient to Queen St too!

I'm a huge breakfast fan and our hosts made a very nice, fancy breakfast... so good! It wasn't just the run of the mill meal. We had a nice conversation with the other guests during breakfast and a nice long chat with the hosts as well, who were lovely, friendly people!

I've already meantioned this B&B to several of my friends, I highly recommend it!

Room Tip: Granny Smith room had a jet tub!

Gail and David maintain a wonderful B & B a block from Main street in Old Yown Niagra on the lake. Gail is not only a wonderful cook , the two course breakfast, fresh and different every morning, but also a wonderful concierge. It was really clean, comfortable, and charming. We had a great time. Thanks so much!

The owners of the Apple Tree Historic Bed and Breakfast are a lovely, welcoming, and professional couple who have created a magnificent home, allowing visitors just like my fiancee and I to enjoy a complete getaway from absolutely everything.

The interior is immaculate and stunning, the rooms and bathrooms are beautiful and full of great details, and Gail's cooking is amongst the best we've had (and we've been around!). Do yourself a favor and stay here the next time you have the chance, and perhaps just like us, you too might be the receiver of the Apple Tree's generosity when it comes to free wine tastings and seminars and tours, along with perhaps a pickup and dropoff by Gail herself.

Room Tip: Get the largest room if you can, because the en suite is perfect!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. Great food, great advice, lovely time talking with others over breakfast. Quiet and private. We walked everywhere in town and rented bikes nearby. Our only disappointment was the size of the room, which was small for the two of us, who like to spread out. But there are other rooms that are larger. Overall, great experience.

Thank you Gail & Dave for a very lovely stay. Your warm welcome and generous hospitality made our weekend away feel like we were staying with family. Our breakfasts were absolutely perfect, Gail prepared delicious and beautifully presented dishes. The location was perfect. We were in the heart of the 'downtown area' walking distance to all the shops and parks. Gail and Dave gave us great 'inside' information about the best things to do, see and the best places to dine. We slept soundly which isn't always easy in a new place, but despite the 30+++ temps outside the house was perfectly cool (with a well placed air conditioner, we never heard a thing) and the rooms were very private allowing guests to come and go without disturbing others. Some other great features which are noteworthy; parking on property, and each car had it's own spot allowing you to come and go as you please, bathrooms had locally made lavender soap, the backyard was shaded and had plenty of seating. Other house guests were very friendly and chatty which made having breakfast together more enjoyable, and the added benefit of staying at a B&B. We would highly recommend staying at this charming B&B and plan on returning ourselves. Jen & Curt

Room Tip: All the rooms looked lovely, very spacious, beautifully decorated and well laid out. The 'Golde...
