“Newly Renovated Bed and Breakfast”
Reviewed 2 August 2014

This is a wonderful B&B one block off the main street . The building dates back to 1791.
The rooms are perfects with AC, fans, small refrigerators, and coffee machines. Phillip is a
lovely host. He gave us maps, tour tips, and coupons for wonderful wine tastings. The breakfast was fabulous. The decor is modern with beautiful tubs and showers. We liked the downstairs location. We plan to return

Room Tip: Downstairs room is large and quiet.

This nice B & B just opened this summer and it is lovely. It is an ancestral house that has been entirely renovated and the result is astonishing. The four rooms available are beautiful and very comfortable. The owner, Philip, is very attentive to his guests while being discrete. His breakfasts, cooked with local products, are delicious and are different every morning. Philip also takes time with the guests to explain all activities available in the area, notably the vineyards for which he gives complimentary tastings that are very valuable. Moreover, the house is very close to the main street of Niagara-on-the-lake where there are many shops, theatres and restaurants. Our stay was a great experience and we will, for sure, recommend this place to our friends.

We were looking to book a B & B as a last minute thing and came across this by chance. It is a brand new bed and breakfast just opened in Niagara on the Lake and that is why there were no reviews to read as we were the first to stay there. We have stayed in several in the area so we could compare it to others. All have been good but this was excellent. It was built in 1817 and has now been renovated to a very high standard mixing old with new. It remains a beautiful, charming and sophisticated, yet still has a warm friendly feel. The location is brilliant for the theatres, shops and restaurants in Queen Street, a beautiful stroll which is only minutes away. The room we stayed in was perfect down to every detail, with coffee making facilities and a fridge to enjoy the beautiful wines that you can purchase from the winery's close by. Philip gave us some great tips and free tasting experience vouchers and is very knowledgeable about the history of the area. A charming host and made our stay relaxed and comfortable in every way. He prepared a beautiful breakfast all cooked from fresh Ingredients and it was exceptional. We enjoyed a bottle of wine in shaded area of the garden which was a perfect end to our stay. We will return and recommend to our friends who are coming in August. This is really a bed and breakfast to enjoy in Niagara on the Lake. Do not hesitate you will not be disappointed.

Room Tip: All rooms are beautifully decorated to a very high standard
