Via Veneto has a lot to recommend it--spacious room, modern bathroom, very clean and comfortable--but the best part is the breakfast. Joe is a retired chef, and the 3-course meals he made were out of this world. Don't fill up on the "European" breakfast (croissant, fruit, cheese, meats, home-made jams) that's on the table when you sit down, because there's something hot to follow (Belgian waffle, Eggs Benedict, panini) and then there's "dessert" (poached pear, baked apple wrapped in filo). Maria, Joe's wife, is delightful, and eager to make your stay exceptional. Outstanding value for NOTL. We'll be back!

We spent four wonderful nights with Maria and Joe in this fantastic B&B in this beautiful town. Maria was very helpful throughout the reservation process (all done directly through their website). Upon our arrival we were greeted by the lovely Maria who made us feel very welcome. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable with great coffee and tea available at all hours. The B&B is in a great spot - not in the busy part of town but a short walk or drive to the main street (Queen Street) which has great shops and restaurants. Maria has helpful tips and info on the restaurants and wineries available to you and was able to help us in organising our adventure passes for Niagara Falls as well. Now to the breakfasts.....I have never stayed anywhere with such amazing breakfasts! Joe provided us with spectacular food every morning, leaving us full well into the afternoon! Three course meals for breakfast is certainly a luxury! We cannot say enough great things about Joe and his cooking or Maria and her hospitality. We had such a lovely stay - Maria and Joe made us feel like part of the family and welcomed us into their home and lives, sharing conversations over breakfast and making us feel so at home. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Niagara-on-the-Lake. You would be crazy to stay anywhere else but here!!

I honestly don't know where to start so I will begin at my phone call enquireing if there was any availability. My first impression after speaking with Maria the proprietor was that this was not an ordinary cookie cutter B&B, but rather a more personal attentive warm home that we were being invited into for the weekend. This was however complimented by the prompt e-mailed confirmation that we were officially booked and the dates blocked out on the online calander. Ariving at their home, we found as promised our hostess and our rooms ready with fresh fruit, beverages and piping hot coffee ready at the push of a button. The rooms and common area were clean and well appointed. The home while cozy in size, was more than compensated by the overwhelming breakfast prepared by the resident chef - Guiseppe, business and life partner of our hostess. Their genuine warmth and hospitality made the meal so expertly prepared by Guiseppe's hands so much more special. At the end, Guiseppe's foreshadowing comment of "I'll try to do better tomorrow", made us both laugh, and wonder in amazement how he could possibly better what we had just had, tomorrow. True to his word, Guiseppe and Maria out did themselves the second morning and we ate so much that it hurt! Their charm and sincerity were amoung the highlights of our weekend in Niagra on the Lake and we will recommend them to all our friends, but not before we book again for next year ourselves.

Sei veramente Grande Guiseppe e Maria!

The rooms were clean and there are no words to describe the extraordinary breakfast that Chef Giuseppe prepares!!! We were very happy and would highly recommend this B&B to anyone who wants to experience some European charm, awesome hospitality and wonderful food. We are already planning for next year!!!!! Thank you again Maria and Giuseppe for an awesome experience!!!

In early October we stayed with Maria and Giuseppe and were extremely pleased with our visit. The rooms were super clean, and their famous breakfast got the day started on the right foot. It was more than we could have expected and will definatly be back soon. Being in the service industry we can appreciate the little things and the Guidos did not dissapoint us. Just make sure you are hungry in the morning! :)
