Debbie is a great host, she greeted us warmly and was very helpful with local recommendations. She told us the history of the house, which is fascinating and made sure we had everything that we needed.
The house is wonderful throughout, the rooms are really beautifully decorated and furnished, old time elegance but thoroughly modern aswell. The breakfast is quite something; a fantastic selection of cold and hot buffet, everything clearly home cooked, freshly made and tastes amazing. If you are in NOTL for some excellent eating, this is a perfect place to start the day.
It is located very close to the centre of town so you can walk to all th shops and restaurants.
We have stayed several times in this area and this is by far the best experience we have had.

This was my first B&B experience with my boyfriend and we had a wonderful experience! We stayed in the Seaman (Blue Room) Suite, a huge loft-style room that had two floors: the bedroom on the 2nd level and living room & bathroom on the 1st level. The room had a great king-size bed, everything was clean, beautifully decorated, and furnished. It also had your basic necessities (towels, soap, shampoo, hair dryer, robe, etc.). It felt like home :) The dining area had character and neatly placed with fine dishes, cups, cutlery, etc. on display and set on the table. Again lovely old furnishings. The breakfast food was delicious and there was a good variety. We especially loved the banana chocolate and walnut bread!... Before we came to Niagara-on-the-lake to stay overnight, we were sightseeing and went to Casa Loma. The Brancliff B&B reminded us of the castle, such as: the pretty ceiling, strong oak wood, the old brick and stones, and simply the beauty of an old mansion, yet it was functionally modern... We ate at Zee's restaurant for dinner, which was conveniently located only about a 5-minute walk.
Brancliff is close to Queen & King Street's quaint main shopping (Rockwell-esque) area and a quick drive to the wineries. Overall, I would recommend this place. Thanks again Debbie for your wonderful hospitality! You made our first B&B stay very enjoyable :) Next time if we stay, we might try out the green room that looks similar.

Cheers!

Great experience at BranCliff Inn. Rooms were great, breakfast was delicious and Debbie was a perfect host. BranCliff was exactly what we wanted in a B&B in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Walking distance to downtown and food. Not on the main street so was very quiet and peaceful. Had a great time and will definitely stay there again.

My experience at the BranCliff Inn was absolutely amazing. My husband, brother, his girlfriend and I decided to take a trip up to the Niagara on the Lake wine region. My husband and I have been there many times before, during all seasons, and this was one of the most enjoyable trips we've had. Debbie, our hostess, was extremely pleasant and cooks a breakfast to die for! One day she made eggs Benedict, another she made quiche, there were always pancakes and meat, toast and fresh fruit, a variety of coffee, teas and juices along with other surprises- such as homemade apple cake! The breakfast was delicious and was plenty filling to hold us over until dinner. The rooms were beautiful, and ultra clean. Everything was absolutely top notch. I have stayed in the Prince of Wales hotel, the crown jewel of Niagara on the Lake, and I can honestly say that given my choice between the two- I will be back to stay at the BranCliff Inn. Thanks Debbie!

I went out for an early morning stroll in the beautiful commons down one short block from Brancliff Inn! Upon my return, I could smell the most amazing aroma in the crisp morning air.
It was from Debbie's amazing hot breakfast so delicious!

We stayed there for two nights (March 12&13) and being mid-week during a snowstorm, we had the place to ourselves. Debbie, our host, nonetheless rolled out the red carpet and greeted us warmly. The rooms are tastefully decorated, clean and upgraded. Breakfast was fit for a king! Debbie did not hold back even though it was just the two of us, she dazzled us with tasty delights. The Brancliff is centrally located so once we arrived the car stayed put and we walked about the town.

We enjoy Niagara-on-the-Lake and look forward to our next stay with Debbie.

Room Tip: Some rooms have a split level with the bedroom upstairs so keep that in mind if stairs are an issue...
