“Beautiful Carousel”
Reviewed 31 October 2013

A great way to keep the kids occupied for 30 minutes - and it was enjoyed by the adults too. Thanks to the volunteers that help maintain the train and carousel

“It's North Bay, they're trying”
Reviewed 10 October 2013

The Carousel is a work of art. At 53 years of age, I have ridden it, just to appreciate the craftsmanship and the mechanical marvel of it and its music machine. As for the train, it is amusing for the children. This is part of the reclamation and re-purposing of the ancient lakefront rail-yards, as North Bay works to capitalize on its gorgeous lakefront, beaches, amenities and revitalization of its Main Street. Parking is plentiful and across the street from the Carousel. I recommend you make a day of it at the beach, the Chief Commanda restaurant (an old converted ship), the Chief Commanda II (a tour ship) nd/or lakefront park. If coming by boat, the Municipal Marina is there, as well.

“Felt like a little kid, again!”
Reviewed 6 October 2013

I loved both the carousel and the heritage train. We are certainly not kids, but I was smiling ear to ear from start to finish. It was definitely great entertainment for adults and kids alike - the carousels were beautiful!

“A little jewel for the kids”
Reviewed 28 August 2013

Two amazing carousels and a 'mini' train for the kids. Very nice for a few bucks. All run by volunteers apparently.
