A group of us stayed here the weekend of July 19/2014. We were in town for a friends wedding. We are all seasoned travelers and some of us travel often for business. Collectively, we have stayed in 100's of hotels. We LOVED this little spot!!!

Rooms and bathrooms were spotless and nicely decorated. Beds super comfy. Yes, the rooms were small and bathrooms tiny but no different than what you would find in Europe or New York City for that matter. Quality linens, nice towels and even bathrobes in the rooms. Staff were courteous and helpful with information on parking, organizing taxis and even a little first aid when I sliced my finger open.

We had all booked separately but upon arrival, the front desk coordinated our rooms so that we were all on the same floor. We saw each others rooms and all were just as quaint and well appointed. We were on the second floor so no need for the elevator, we used the stairs. Missed breakfast on the Sunday as we slept in after a late night. Front desk was happy to extend our check out.

No, not the nicest neighborhood but easy to find and walking distance to a few decent restaurants, drug store, ATM etc. Parking was no problem either. The value of this hotel was unbeatable! It was half the price of two other hotels suggested by the bride and groom.

If I'm ever in Oshawa again, I would absolutely stay here again!

From the area originally but returning for a sports tournament. I knew the downtown area could be a little sketchy but the hotel pictures looked very good. The room itself was outstanding. Everything was new and quite clean. Slept quite well and was quiet. Neighbourhood was ok too as it was on the edge of downtown but had lots of newer businesses nearby. For the price, the value was top notch.

Would recommend to anyone staying in the Oshawa area 10/10 place for stay. A lovely hotel with a pleasant staff and beautiful rooms. We traveled as a couple and we also prolonged our stay because of the quality of the hotel. Thank you

Hotel was a bit difficult to find, as it was considerably further away from the 401 than the map on the website would indicate. Also, we almost missed noticing the hotel even though we were stopped for a red light right alongside the building. As others have noted, the area of the hotel seems economically depressed, and the exterior of the hotel looks quite different from the typical highway hotel. The room, however was perfectly adequate and very clean. Bed was super comfortable and the internet connection was quick and easy. The staff were cheery and welcoming, and the free breakfast was better than average. The price for the room was quite reasonable. All in all, a very good experience.

Elevator was always out of order. Did not have a great sleep because of the noise: door slamming, dog barking, rowdy kids just so annoying. The black lady housekeeper so rude and unrespectful. She did not do good job in doing my room. Parking is tight.Did not extend my stay. But breakfast was great!.
