Let me start by saying that we were loyal Maroushe on Elgin customers until he closed his doors. We have been trying to find our next go-to Shawarma spot. We have tried many and feel like we've found a great replacement. The owners are very friendly and eager to let people know about their restaurant. There were people waiting to be served so their name is getting out there. Apparently they just purchased the restaurant from a "not so eager to impress" restauranteur.
Our food was very plentiful and delicious. The chicken plate came with chicken, homemade hummus, pickled turnips, tabouli, rice, fattoush salad, pita & garlic - massive & everything was very fresh. The shawarmas were large and packed full of meat and various veg & pickled turnip & hot peppers. The falafals were also very good and definitely homemade. The value for money was very good. They are on facebook too.
