Truly an amazing Canada Day we had at the Auberge McGee's. The Armstrong's were extremely helpful with all our visiting needs in the nations capital. Great breakfast and a wonderful sleep. Best location to walk to Parliament Hill during such an iconic event to enjoy all the Canada Day festivities.
Amazing hosts and beautiful inn. Well done!

We are a senior couple and our stay at McGee's Inn was arranged "last minute". We received a reduced rate for room 22, as we booked the day before arrival. We arrived earlier that planned -1:00pm - and we were pleasantly surprised that our room was available. We were able to check in and leave our car. It was an easy to walk to the Market and Parliament Buildings. The room was clean and well-appointed. Breakfast was a gastronomical delight. The umbrellas at the door were much appreciated and unexpected, as it was raining.
We would highly recommend McGee's and would definitely stay there again.

We stayed in room 22 it was beautiful, cool, and quiet. The hottest day of the year ! Great spot to rejuvenate after a visit to the Parliament Buildings. Room 22 had a second room with a single bed and a screened porch, tons of room! First time we stayed at a bed and breakfast and we were very pleased with the whole experience. I thought the Inn was empty until breakfast time and the room was full but the inn was quiet. I am planning our next getaway and it will include Auberge McGee's Inn!

I stayed for 2 nights at a very busy time of year over the Canada Holiday. The inn is very large for a B&B and admittedly it was buzzing with guests and the owners family and friends. However, the family's easy going friendliness puts you right at home. My room, #18 was on the 2nd floor well away from the activities and came with a spacious furnished and screened-in balcony--lovely! The room was comfortable with cable television, wifi, large bathroom with cast iron tub and plenty of hot water. After a wonderful sleep, breakfast is served in the main dining and living area. The coffee is great and the helpings generous. Did I mention that McGee's is just a few blocks from the Byward Market? This B&B was a lucky find and is well worth a visit.

Room Tip: I would definitely ask for Room #18 with it's lovely private balcony.

My stay at McGee's Inn was very good, as it always is. The bed was comfortable and the AC unit kept the room nice and cool on a very hot day. The hosts were their usual warm and friendly selves. The neighborhood is quiet, even with its proximity to downtown and the tourist haven, Byward Market.
