Rooms were clean but hotel needs some major maintenance... I assume many families come for the wave pool and slide, but if you don't need that then you may find a hotel more suitable in the same price range. Hotel is tired and shabby, very busy on the weekends and it shows that it is a dated and busy building.
Water Park is what you see what you get. Water slide, small wave pool (in comparison to the average but large for a hotel) a small kiddie pool, rinse-off showers and 12 person hot tub. Kids loved it and it was well maintained in comparison to the rest of the hotel. We were impressed with the attentive and personable life guards.
Skip the breakfast buffet. ($10 a person for "scrambled eggs", sausages, bacon, home fries, cereal, tin-can fruit and a few pre-packaged baked goods.)
The only problems we had were with the annoyance of other guests. Overall a 3 star stay, but we did have a good time!
