The staff here TRULY embody the spirit of "customer centred service". Sure there's ALWAYS the smiley greeting, and the miraculous facial recognition skills that help them call you by name when you arrive, and always having the door opened for you EVERY time you enter and exit the lobby. And yes, the fact that steps outside my door is all the extra towels, coffee, sundries, toiletries, pens, etc; and yes, the fact that i presently have a load of laundry (for free) in the dryer and just finished printing off a couple of documents i need for tomorrow's meeting on the printer that's right here & stocked in my own room, all add to the overall experience at the Business Inn. But last night (or more accurately, painfully early this morning) my travel plans were altered and i arrived 12 hours ahead of my scheduled check-in. But without hesitation Mike found a way to accommodate me - and then Betty worked it out this morning to just allow me to stay put and not have to pack myself back up to move to the room i was originally supposed to stay in this week.
This place is AMAZING - and precisely why i choose to stay here every trip to Ottawa!!! Thanks for the service and the understanding you afford us weary travellers.More
