This is my second stay at the Brookstreet. My first was for a wedding last year and this time was for a funeral and a few days of relaxation amongst chaos. The location in Kanata is a little odd but works great for me as I have most of my family in Kanata and Stittsville. The staff has always been helpful and accomodating, the rooms comfortable and the gym and pool very nice. There is a great golf course attached. My only disappointment was having to wait an hour for brunch at the only restaurant in the hotel. We hadn't thought about reservations for brunch and there are no restaurants within walking distance. After discussion, we decided to drive elsewhere. I have had brunch in the past and it is a very lovely experience. I will be going back in October.
