The Heart and Crown is in the Irish Village in Byward Market and includes The Heart & Crown, Mother McGintey's, Black Rose and Snug Pub. We ate lunch outside on a lovely hot sunny sunday afternoon at the Black Rose and had the fish and chips. Two pieces of the BIGGEST pieces of fish, cooked through, tasty, not greasy and totally enjoyable. Its been a long time since I enjoyed fish and chips from a restaurant, and this was awesome. Waitress was attentive and friendly - too bad they dont have a restaurant in Toronto!
