“Someone needs to spend some money here!”
Reviewed 9 August 2014

This needs some serious work done to create a proper trail in through the woods similar to Fish Point at the other end of the island. It was a joke trying to get out to the lighthouse along the narrow beach under/over fallen trees past poison ivy only to find at the end a neglected, overgrown area of a historically significant landmark. Whoever is in control of this area should be ashamed.

“Quiet walk on the beach”
Reviewed 4 August 2014

There is a trail to the lighthouse at the end of the road. You can park your bikes there or alternatively if you have a car there is parking a little ways away. The trail is about a 1 km. in order to see the lighthouse you will need to walk on the shore and climb up to the lighthouse. It looked like there was a trail directly to the lighthouse but it has been closed. The lighthouse is locked but makes for so e stunning pictures.

“Not much there other than a light house”
Reviewed 28 July 2014

I guess I was expecting a shoreline around the lighthouse, but it was just a lighthouse in the bushes and not much else,

loved that we could take a quiet walk along the beach. It was clean and peaceful. The trail was well kept but not unnatural. The marsh was quiet due to the cool weather.
