Great presentation of an interesting slice of Canadian history. And everyone knows that Canadian bushplane pilots are the best fliers in the world. Right?

Everyone from age 2-70 enjoyed this visit. Very educational with lots of hands-on activities for the kids. There are educational movies that are not boring at all even for the kids.

This was an unassuming little museum that we decided to go to at the last minute. Our kids really liked the planes. They had a nice variety of interactive exhibits for our kids. Also there were 2 movies, one in 3D to help illustrate the role of bush planes in Canada. A few planes were opened up so the kids could jump right in. It was nice morning's trip, great for families.

We stopped in after other plans fell through but it was a lot of fun. There is a lot of interactive stuff great for kids (and adults who act like kids!). The films were interesting and the staff was great. The director was walking through, stopped to chat with us, and voluntarily shared a lot of information/stories about some of the various planes.

We spent over two hours walking around looking at the planes and watching the two movies.

Planes have been lovingly restored. Their collection from the earliest Bush planes to today's is very extensive. It's also very well laid out, you can go in sequence through the years.

The two movies are great. The 3D fire fight one is quite an experience. Sit in the second row middle for the best view. The other movie is about a bush pilot transporting goods out of Killarney. We had just spent a few days there and it was interesting to see how the town has changed in the last decade.

Only thing that would make it better would be the ability to go on a plane and see the Sault Ste Marie area. We did an air tour in Parry Sound (Georgian Bay Airlines) in a bush plane, it was very cool.
