“A wedding and wonderful services”

I attended a wedding yesterday that was absolutely fabulous. Hughson Hall is an amazing venue, has great accommodations and the owners are incredible. I would absolutely recommend, when visiting Stratford, to stay at the elegant Hughson Hall.

Our family enjoyed our stay in this beautiful historic home. It is a lovely building, but probably the best part of this stay were the extra touches: a great welcome, the guest pantry, very helpful advice on restaurants, coffee and tea brought to your room in the morning, a fantastic breakfast ... we will stay here on our next trip to Stratford!

This was my second stay and I highly recommend this beautiful home to everyone. The grand and luxurious rooms made me feel like royalty, as did the gracious hosts. Waking up every morning to a delicious, creative breakfast and great company was a highlight of my trip.

Our weekend stay March 28-29 in the east wing was a welcome change from our hectic lives. The B&B is a quaint nod to the past but our fantastic breakfasts were truly contemporary and innovative. Great location, charming shops, scenic walks and many restaurant choices complemented this relaxing getaway. We knew it wasn't theatre season but there was enough to do while also getting needed R & R. Make sure you don't miss Madelyn's diner's 'to die for' butter tarts; they go fast daily. Lunch at Mercer Hall is a sure bet; great fire wood oven pizza at Pazzo Traverna (lower level dining) and one of the best burgers we've ever had at Downie Street Burgers were very affordable options. Complete your stay with HH's suggested scenic walk. You'll feel recharged after your stay here!

Room Tip: East Wing - bay window nook is cozy to read in.

Hughson Hall is a wonderful, luxurious B&B that made our always-special stay in Stratford even better. The historic home is beautiful, and our hosts, Clinton and Ross were excellent. The second floor of Hughson is the primary guest area with 2 "wings." We stayed in the West Wing with an elegant bedroom, private bath, and private sitting room. There is also a shared guest pantry with refrigerator and snacks as well as a patio overlooking the quiet, tree-lined street. Coffee arrived with a gentle knock on our door at 8:30 each morning, and a full, delicious breakfast was served with a flourish at 9. Unlike most B&B hosts we have encountered in decades of going to Stratford, Clinton and Ross are very knowledgeable of and dedicated to the theater.

Hughson Hall is a wonderful place to stay. We were treated like princesses and felt like we were in a home away from home. Bed was very comfortable and loved the coffe service to wake up to. Breakfast was delicious. We can't wait to return.

Hughson Hall is such a remarkable B & B. This is a beautiful heritage property lovingly restored and maintained by Clinton and Ross - hosts extraordinaire! After being warmly greeted, we relaxed in our spacious, beautifully decorated bedroom prior to heading off to the theatre which was only minutes away. When we returned later that evening, our bed was turned down and we indulged in the decadent chocolates left for us by our hosts. The next morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast and a lively talk about theatre and the history of their beautiful home. Thank you for a lovely experience - we will definitely be back.
