We were travelling from Saskatchewan to Ontario, are room had been booked for weeks, we were checked in that was great, the room was nice and didn't have much of a view, it was the roof. we had been on travelling on day from Thunder Bay and just wanted to relax for the night as we still had 7 more hours to drive yet next day. My husband is a sound sleep and l'm not but tat night we were woken up by someone trying to get in our room, l'm so glad l had put dead bolt on or they would have got in, when l called down to the front desk, the lady said she would look into it and then called back and said what are you doing in that room you are booked and l said this is the room you gave us and she said no you were in a different room, so l hung up the phone, well we tried to sleep but couldn't got a total of 3 hrs sleep that night after travelling 13 hrs of driving, so we checked out at 3a.m. couldn't sleep any ways, before we checked out m husband took some of the stuff down to the truck and had a smoke good thing l stayed back because our keys we cancelled, l surely was pissed then, told the young man at front desk that and he said that's what we do, l understand that but could have made us new keys t didn't. did email general manager and front desk manager and we were given our room at no cost. but for everyone's safety always put the dead bolt on in your hotel room cause this could happen to you and might be a different situation.

Friendly staff, good restaurant, live entertainment Thursday night, not too loud very enjoyable, pool and sauna well kept, A/C unit in rooms loud but work well, rooms clean but soon time to update. TV channel options is the only real complaint, there were very few channels to choose from. With the cable service that is available these days there should have been a better selection, I saying that it would not stop me from staying there again.

Happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. Our restaurant currently has live entertainment every Thursday and Friday night! As for our cable selection, we are in the process of upgrading our system to return our full cable line-up. Hopefully we will have our entire channel line-up back before your next stay.
