Went for a family event and was upgraded to an executive suite-superb room. All a traveller could ask for . Great room, bathrobe set out and a huge comfortable room. Nice bar and resurant on sie an a short tunnel walk to a mall and theatre for a couple of movies and shopping.. Would gladly return any time for another visit-highly recommended. AAA+++

My boyfriend and I were going to Sudbury for a weekend away. We decided to book a room at the hotel since it had a Jacuzzi Suite. The manager told us that the suite was booked for that specific weekend but took my name and would contact me if there were a cancelation. Two weeks later, I am contacted to say there was an opening for that weekend for that room. So I booked.

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We had a good night sleep, it was nice and quiet, unlike other hotels.

The hotel is downtown, close to the LCBO and Tim Hortons and attached to a mall, not the main mall though.

In our room we had a nice comfy bed, a fire place, a fridge and microwave, and of course the jacuzzi.

We did not go to the swimming pool, but it looked very clean and well maintained.

I had been looking for a Jacuzzi Suite in the Sudbury area and the Radisson was very pleasant and well priced. The only thing, since they only have one Jacuzzi Suite, if the room hadn't became available, we would have had to book somewhere else, considering there are only one Jacuzzi Suite, so booking in advance is a must.

We will definitely be staying at the Radisson next time we are in Sudbury.

We have stayed at a number of hotels in Sudbury....some just a nightmare....but this was a refreshing change.
We opened the door to a fresh, clean looking room and didn't find otherwise in our one night stay.
We looooved the beds, beautiful linen and comfortable sleep. And best of all, the hallways were quiet so we actually got some sleep, again unlike other hotels we've stayed in in the city.
The staff at the front desk were very helpful, on the ball when it came to making registration quick and easy...and we found the phone call from the front desk about an hour after checking in to see if all was well very reassuring.
While we forgot our bathing suits we did check out the pool and it looked very clean and maintained.
We also found it refreshing that the cleaning staff were quiet and not busy chatting about their social life loudly in the hallway...instead they were pleasant with answering our question and our pleasantries.
The only thing we missed was a microwave, but we didn't ask for one so don't know if they are available.
We will definately be staying here the next time we are in town to visit family or for business.

Need to use low ramp to get luggage cart to rooms. No big deal but might be useful for some to know this.

One minor thing, cut foot on sharp edge in men's change area, bleeding. Front desk solicitous.
Hopefully repair will be taken care of during ongoing improvements.

Pool are bright and welcoming, in full view of front desk and lobby, nicely reassuring since no actual supervision provided.

My daughter and I stayed at the Radisson in Sudbury for a dental appointment and school shopping. The hotel is average. It is located downtown so not close to the box malls or the main shopping mall. But it is attached to a small shopping mall. The room was nice but definitely dated. The room was nice. They use duvets not bed spreads, the pillows were plenty and comfortable and the beds are sleep number beds, very nice. The issues I had with the room were minor (small bathroom, no fan in the bathroom and the tap was difficult to use, sprayed us). At the time of our stay the fitness room was closed due to renovations but the fitness place in the mall was avaiable for free. The pool area is very nice but the change room, yuck. There is only one elevator and our room was quite far from it. This hotel is undergoing renovations which take time and I think when it is finished it will be great instead of average. Lastly, the staff were superb and that alone makes up for a lot of what is lacking here. I don't think the price is reflective of this hotel though, not until the renos are done.

Room Tip: Ask for a newly renovated room if available and closer to the elevator because there is only one ele...

Needed a place to sleep with my family traveling through Sudbury. This one appeared clean and tidy when you pull up.(unlike many others we passed by) Then checked out the lobby, it was clean to. Customer service at front desk was excellent. And the room was spotless. If traveling here again, I would comfortably rest myself here. Other Radissons should use this one as an example of how its done.
