Description: Welcome to the new Loose Moose, featuring a brand new menu and the largest draught beer selection in downtown Toronto. Since pouring our first pint in 1989, a lot has changed at The Loose Moose. And yet, so much has remained the same. Our space is different, but our address isn’t. Our business has grown, but we’re still independent. And now, even with the most draught beers downtown, we’re no beer snobs. Never have been. Never will be. After all, staying true to yourself is how you make new friends - and keep old ones. Anyone who’s stopped by The Loose Moose to unwind after work, watch the game or make a night of it will tell you the same.

Stopped by early for a pre-dinner drink but couldn’t stand the atmosphere (insanely loud music) or the burnt-toast odor. Toured both floors and took our foursome to Moxies instead.

Even though it was crowded with convention-goers, we could enjoy the fellowship and conversation with friends. A real pub-like atmosphere. Good food and large selection of beers and cider

The first 2 things I noticed when I walked through the door was the fresh smell of beer and a wall of TVs showing World Cup soccer matches. It was lunchtime and many convention goers had crossed the street from the Toronto convention center to get a bite to eat.

In keeping with my eatingi program, I had a huge chef's salad and a pinot grigio. The salad had a lot of all my favorites: fresh avocado, hardboiled eggs, freshly cooked bacon bits and more. Needless to say, I could not finish. My friend went with a tried and true hamburger and fries and a strong beer. He was very happy. He managed to finish the burger but not the fries. It was a good place to come and have a friendly lunch.

Arrived in Toronto with my wife and 6 friends to celebrate her 65th birthday. Searched around for a bar to watch the Capitals Game 5 and came upon the Loose Moose. Walked in and what a great place. Large bar, friendly and attentive, with enough bar staff that you really never had to wait for a drink or a food order. Being Caps fans we were surprised to see that many of the patrons were wearing Caps jerseys and welcomed us to join in as we watched the Capitals win their first Stanley Cup. The food is way above the standard bar fare and there was a large selection of draft and other libations. If your ever in the downtown Toronto area, vacationing or even there for a Blue Jays ballgame, only a couple blocks from the stadium, I highly recommend you stop in, you won't be disappointed.

Dropped in here to sample the local ciders and beer and we chose a selection of the sharing dishes, which were good prices and very tasty. Service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere was great - conversational buzz and music everywhere. A really nice casual place to chat and enjoy some pub food.
