Owner description: Take a trip to Italy without the airfare; this Toronto neighborhood has maintained all the charm of a small Italian community.

A walk through Little Italy's College Street is filled with the strong aromas of fresh pizzas and homemade pasta sauces. That aroma helps create a fantastic Italian atmosphere and pleasant walk, filled with many dining options. Not just Italian culture, there is something here for everyone and an excellent spot to enjoy dinner. Will be back as it's one of my favourite areas of Toronto!

For everyone looking for a gondola ride and nothing but Italian restaurants and gelato, Little Italy will disappoint.

If you can get over that, the stretch of College Street between Bathurst and Ossington has a rich Italian flavour with a diversity of restaurants, bars, and night life.

You can find really good Italian food here. You can also find Canadian, Japanese, and other favourites too. The stretch is populated with restaurants, so it is possible to take the streetcar, then walk the street til you see what you want to try. Even the most popular spots will generally have a table during the week. There will be very good places that have tables on the weekend.

If you are on foot, the clubs are closer to Ossington. Great restaurants on the stretch include Sidecar, Grace, Kalendar, Hapa Izakaya, and Bar Isabel.

This stretch is not populated with hotels, so best to reach it by streetcar. This stretch of College is one of several great Toronto Streets that give guests a taste of the city.

It's a great place to go for latin culture and language. Whenever I would come back from Quebec, I would go there, because it was comfortable for me. I worked in a restaurant in the area for one night, and I made $200!

Very nice to take a stroll around. The food is AMAZING, as expected from Italian food.. Even thought it's hard to get good Italian food outside of Italy, they do a good job around there.
