“Nice park”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

It is a good place for a walk. Best time to visit is summer, fall. It is worth visiting the zoo with the kids. It is free! Check out the shows at High Park.

“Great Park”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

Lovely park, there is a petting zoo for kids and playgrounds with a castle structure. There are off leash areas for people with dogs. It is big and it has a lot of areas for nature walks.

“High (Brow) Park”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

I love High Park, which, after Central Park, is the second largest public park in North America. They have animals - bison, goats, sheep, yaks - and a wonderful rebuilt castle playground. You can explore the rolling hills; loll beneath the budding trees; swim; row a boat; participate in sports; walk your dog - the list is long. The only problem I have with the park, and the neighbourhood in general (I used to live there), is the highbrow tone. Toronto, like any city, has its 'stately' neighbourhoods, and that would be okay if the people populating them didn't give off so many feelings of specialness. So while I love the park, I prefer it on quieter days.

“A hidden gem.”

A hikers dream spot within the city. A cute little cafe to have a brunch before your stroll over to the little child friendly zoo.
