“A refuge from the weather”
Reviewed 27 January 2014

Stayed one night last weekend. The weather outside was appalling and the Four Seasons was a real refuge. The public areas as with most Four Seasons was very tasteful and soothing and my reservation was handled efficiently. The room was bigger than I had expected with an excellent well appointed bathroom. Huge bathtub and a large separate shower stall. All the small details were looked after right down to the Nespresso machine in the room. The hotel is near a large number of trendy restaurants and shopping if you can bring yourself to deal with the near polar weather.

I am so pleased that we were able to offer you a place of comfort and refuge during the freezing cold weather we have been having. It's also great to hear that you noticed small details in our guestrooms, which are there to make you feel more at home! We look forward to welcoming you back again.

The high rise property is centrally located in Yorkwille, not exactly in the CBD but right on the main shopping street. No-brainer for leisure travelers with a decent budget.
The hotel is a recent built / conversion with an absolutely stunning smooth design, a nice combination of slick modernism and luxury with a calm and collected personality. Colors are slightly understated especially in the rooms but it does not come as a disadvantage.
Lobby has a bit unfavorable layout, with little sense of arrival, but I guess that was a design constraint given by the building.

There is a nice Boulud restaurant on the second floor with all day dining. The lobby bar is nothing special yet very popular in the evenings, with a nice local crowed as well.
Service is up to standards, slightly informal (the Four Seasons way) but nothing more than that. Overall I think luxury properties have to forget the name recall thing altogether. They get is more often wrong than right and no decent traveler expects to have his name remembered by three shifts of service. Focusing on other details like the way you prefer your coffee or just having a pleasant chat is more important than remembering your name...but that's just me.

All in all it was a very pleasant stay, thank you!

Room Tip: try to go for a room with southwards views, nice panorama over the downtown area city.

Stepping away from the hustle and bustle of the city into FS Toronto is like stepping into temporary bliss- the combination of its chic interior, its hospitable staff, and exquisite service gives me an instant sense of leisure. I stayed there (loved their beds), tried the spa (loved their facials) and have been to dbar numerous times- which is at the top of my list for places to unwind and indulge in delicious bites and cocktails.

It's just what you would expect, and a little more!

I have stayed EVERYWHERE in the city AND all over the world and this was one of the greatest experiences I have had to date. The room was magnificent and extremely cozy (for going to Toronto in the dead of winter)
They had one of the most pleasant and accommodating staff :) The bar had to be one of the best places for people watching and charcuterie platter was a must have!
I didn't get a chance to use the spa but it is apparently stunning! I would recommend the Four Seasons Toronto over any hotel in the city if you are looking for top-motch luxury!

Room Tip: A king suite is the way to go!

This spa will ruin you for any other places for massages in the city! Professional, details and an amazing atmosphere! Ask for Jessica if you can! Tip - come early to enjoy time in the Eucalyptus steam room first

I hosted a business lunch at The Four Seasons Toronto this week - it was the perfect venue! The service and food were excellent as expected. The D Bar was busy, creating a perfect atmosphere for the lunch. Will definitely be hosting another lunch at the hotel.
