“Great Hotel!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 July 2014

Great Hotel in the heart of downtown Toronto. We had a room facing the inside of Blue Jay Stadium and it was awesome! Alexia was great and got us an amazing room and took care of us. All the staff was nice and helpful during our stay. I would stay there again!

Room Tip: My room was facing the inside of the Rogers Centre which is where the Blue Jays play. There were not...

Booked this hotel back in March and asked for a King bed. We received a confirmation of this reservation. To our dismay, when we arrived in July, there was no room available with a King bed. Then why did you send out a confirmation? Now...on the positive side, the man at the desk appologized and gave us a free breakfast voucher. For those who are not aware...breakfast costs an average of $50.00 (Buffett). Our room was large, clean and the beds were very comfortable. All in all would stay here again.

Room Tip: Double check your reservation. Rooms on the north side face Go train tracks and downtown core.

My daughter and I stayed here (again) this past Saturday evening. When we arrived at the hotel at around 12:30 pm, our room was not ready, but it was no big deal, they stored our luggage for us, parked my car and we were off shopping. When we arived back to the hotel just after 3pm, our room was ready. We stayed in a Junior suite with a king bedroom, separate living room area. The room was very clean, the bed was super comfy. The only complaint I would have with this, it would have been nice to have had a phone in both the living room area as well as the bedroom (only one phone and it was in the bedroom). This hotel is very close to everything, all within walking distance, it was super handy because we went to a concert at the ACC, and it was only about 7 minute walk from the hotel. We order room service late that evening and it was ready and in our room about 20 minutes after ordering...great service! The staff are super friendly, just a pleasant place to stay. I would suggest though, with the price people pay for the rooms, WIFI could at least be included for free, the charge is $12.95/day...which I think is a bit much considering the cost of the rooms.

Room Tip: If you happen to stay at this hotel while a Blue Jays game is on, you can watch the game from the re...

The extra cost for a stadium side view is WORTH IT - the view is awesome of the stadium, whether you're a baseball fan or not (but expecially if you are). You can watch Batting Practice and the game from up there & pretty much see everything. Hotel is also lovely, clean, good service, comfortable rooms & beds.

This was my third time staying at the Renaissance downtown. It's become my go-to hotel of choice for my fun trips to TO! It's perfectly located, the rooms are great and the staff are more than helpful and welcoming! I'll keep coming back again and again.

Room Tip: The corner suite I had is the best! Quiet and bright when you want it to be. Nicely updated design...

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were very friendly, the price was very reasonable, and the rooms were clean and modern. Upon arriving I was given a free upgrade to a suite! Will definitely stay here again!
