We had stayed at Renaissance Toronto night before my daughters wedding with 20 family members and the whole wedding party (brides side) -- We had an amazing stay - so many people and we were all very satisfied with our stay. All staff was amazing from door men, front desk girls (Donna and Alexia) to Ariba Restaurant!! Rooms were very clean and the bridal suite 164 was amazing!

Would highly recommend. :)

Room Tip: We had rooms on different floors and we were all very happy, even the first floor... didn't hear...

We really liked this hotel, even though we stayed during the All Star game time (in MN) and the Blue Jays were (obviously) not playing baseball at the time. We actually preferred to stay when the baseball team was not home, since our visit was just to see some friends, and see Toronto. The hotel is nicely situated even IF you are not staying to see a game. However, the hotel is virtually inside the stadium (at least it seemed that way) so if you are a Blue Jays fan, you really can't go wrong.
We also loved the rate we got at this hotel. When planning our trip to Toronto, we looked at a lot of properties, and the rates were sky high. This hotel offered a great rate (with Triple A discount) and we found it suited us just fine.

Room Tip: There are rooms that face the train tracks (not really noisy but not much of a view of anything,) If...

Our first trip to Toronto was specifically for a Blue Jays game and to stay in this hotel. We booked a lesser room but were pleasantly surprised that we were upgraded to a room with a view to the game. We watched the first 7 innings from our seats in right field but enjoyed the rest of the game from our room, which was in right center field. An awesome trip made better by the hotel staff.

My husband had a business trip from Boston to Montreal. We decided to add business with pleasure, and went from Montreal to Toronto. Since the Red Sox were playing at Rogers Stadium, we booked a Stadium room from one night, and a standard room for two nights.
Upon check-in, we were upgraded to a Stadium room for all three nights! What a treat!
Watching the baseball game from the comfort of our hotel room was fabulous!

As to the hotel, it was neat and clean and the staff was excellent. Although we did not use the fitness center or swimming pool (ran out of time), we checked them out and they looked great. The pool was huge!

We did not rent a car as it was easy to get anywhere. From Billy Bishop Airport, there is a free ferry off the island, then a free bus shuttle a few blocks away from the hotel.

Great Hotel in the heart of downtown Toronto. We had a room facing the inside of Blue Jay Stadium and it was awesome! Alexia was great and got us an amazing room and took care of us. All the staff was nice and helpful during our stay. I would stay there again!

Room Tip: My room was facing the inside of the Rogers Centre which is where the Blue Jays play. There were not...

Booked this hotel back in March and asked for a King bed. We received a confirmation of this reservation. To our dismay, when we arrived in July, there was no room available with a King bed. Then why did you send out a confirmation? Now...on the positive side, the man at the desk appologized and gave us a free breakfast voucher. For those who are not aware...breakfast costs an average of $50.00 (Buffett). Our room was large, clean and the beds were very comfortable. All in all would stay here again.

Room Tip: Double check your reservation. Rooms on the north side face Go train tracks and downtown core.

My daughter and I stayed here (again) this past Saturday evening. When we arrived at the hotel at around 12:30 pm, our room was not ready, but it was no big deal, they stored our luggage for us, parked my car and we were off shopping. When we arived back to the hotel just after 3pm, our room was ready. We stayed in a Junior suite with a king bedroom, separate living room area. The room was very clean, the bed was super comfy. The only complaint I would have with this, it would have been nice to have had a phone in both the living room area as well as the bedroom (only one phone and it was in the bedroom). This hotel is very close to everything, all within walking distance, it was super handy because we went to a concert at the ACC, and it was only about 7 minute walk from the hotel. We order room service late that evening and it was ready and in our room about 20 minutes after ordering...great service! The staff are super friendly, just a pleasant place to stay. I would suggest though, with the price people pay for the rooms, WIFI could at least be included for free, the charge is $12.95/day...which I think is a bit much considering the cost of the rooms.

Room Tip: If you happen to stay at this hotel while a Blue Jays game is on, you can watch the game from the re...
