The location of this hotel is perfect for all Toronto's main attractions within a sensible walk. I can only comment on the executive rooms on Floors 8 & 9. Half the rooms look out onto the CN Tower. Most of the privileges of the executive rooms are well documented in these pages but apart from the Lounge, wifi and concierge there is a local limousine service avaliable, and free of charge to downtown destinations in the morning. This was really useful for getting dropped off at the car rental depot.
When we checked in there was an issue in the room. We were allocated a new room and offered some edible treats and a meal credit. Maintenance issues happen and this hotel dealt with it quickly and equitably. When you see how a hotel deals with a problem it gives you an insight into how customer focused they are. Well done Intercontinental - I'd go back.
