“Perfect Location”
Reviewed 8 December 2013

Great value as well as comfortable, the staff went out of their way to make both my wife and I stay as homely as possible. The concierge desk (Donna) was always helpful making sure I got too see it all and save money ,like true family. Walking distance from Eaton shopping centre and easy access to transport this hotel has the perfect location. Dundas Square always had you entertained with a host of talent. Thank you for such a beautiful and warm stay.

I do not think I've been to a more noisy hotel in my life. Housekeeping has a tendency to burst into your room without knocking from 8AM and if you haven't been woken up in that manner, they make sure that you do not go back to sleep afterwards by speaking at the top of their voice in the halls and loudly greeting everyone. Needless to say the doors slam non stop.
Other than that, cleanliness is very relative (the dusting was not done in my room) and the beds not comfortable.
Wifi is expensive and not even available in the lobby.
I would not recommend

Dear Elisabeth33000,

Thank you for your feedback regarding the noise in the hall ways, we take such complaints very seriously and are sorry for your experience. The Executive Housekeeper has already been informed of the loud voices being used and will be speaking to all of her team to ensure they keep the noise levels down.

As we assure you the housekeeping team apologizes for any inconveience experienced they may have caused you during your stay. This is not customary of our hotel or our service and it was not our intension to have you woken up so early.

Our housekeeping team begin their days at 8:30 am and start cleaning rooms at 8:45 am to 4:00 pm and should always begin their day with rooms that have already departed the hotel.
We will be following up with the housekeeping team to ensure these procedures are the only ones followed.

Please feel free to contact myself direct by calling the hotel (416) 362-6061 as we would like to speak to you regarding the problems experienced.

Thank you again for sharing your feedback and experience as this helps us to continue to maintenance and improve our teams service on a daily basis.

This is my second stay in a little over 9 months (Nov 30th to Dec 3, 2013) and I am absolutely thrilled with this hotel. The rooms are very clean and well kept (yes a bit small but we do not hang out in the room - we are just there to sleep and shower). The staff are very friendly and helpful. We paid a great price too! The hotel is in a great location very close to the Eaton Center and lots of other shops. Tons of restaurants around the hotel too (Hard Rock Cafe, Shark Club Sports Bar & Grill, and Jack Astor's, along with many others). Walking distance for all attractions and not that far from the Air Canada Centre as well. I am looking forward to staying there again really soon!!

Bond Place hotel is near Dundas Square you can see the hotel from the square it that near and therefore near the Eaton Shopping Centre also which is enormous. We used the hotel as a base to explore the city and it was very central. We picked up the open top bus tour from the square and really enjoyed learing about the city.
The hotel was adequate for what we wanted the rooms were small but modern and clean. The staff were very helpful.
I would definately go back again

Let me first say, we travel a lot and have never had such a terrible experience as the one we had at this hotel. So it's not a matter of just being people who can't be pleased, we have the experience to know that this place sadly lacked a great deal.

When we went to register, we were told that we could not use our wag-jag jaunt, even though we had booked it that way, so we were told we would have to book another room that night and come back another time to use the jaunt??? Once that odd situation was settled, we were told that the room they had JUST told us we didn't have through the jaunt, had been damaged the night before and therefore we wouldn't be getting the "lakeview" one queen, one twin bed we had requested, but a one queen overlooking the neighbouring parking lot. Apparently we were to now fit three people into one bed.

We were also told that although our package was suppose to include parking, the parking lot was already filled up and that we should go park in the neighbouring parking lot. We were told that the owner's of the lot didn't have a watchmen on their lot at night so we would be OK. That was a breaking point for my husband since the last thing we wanted was to park somewhere we shouldn't be and be towed out. Somehow the hotel "found" parking for us in their own lot, so I guess that turned out OK.

We requested a roll away bed that was brought up to the room quickly enough, only to find out that it didn't actually fit into the small room we had!... and the worst part of that was, that they guy who came back to get the bed he had just delivered, suggested that my husband use the mattress to sleep on the floor!

The manager did come up to up room at that point and gave us coupons for the restaurant downstairs for breakfast. That consisted of cold eggs, cold hash browns and toast.

I guess the worst of all of this was, that while my husband stood at the counter dealing with the silliness that came with registering, there were two other separate customers who were also dealing with problems with the hotel....that's a sign if ever there was one.

Obviously the location is the best thing about this hotel.

I was really excited to go stay at this hotel as it looked really modern and I'm a big fan of that, but in truth, while it does look great online, when you actual get there you see that the finishes are truly not high end...just cheap imitations.

There are a ton of really great placed to stay in Toronto, this isn't one of them!

Dear Mieu,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us, we appreciate it as it allows us to improve or correct our services on a regular basis.

Regarding your Jaunt booking, I am not sure how the reservation was made nor the details but I do apologize for the experience and would like to correct everything for you.

Parking across the street is a safe option in the lot, however it is not free and I would like to know who would have given you such information. We would have been glad to cover the cost of your parking when it is included in a package by reimbursing you the cost paid at the lot across from our entrance.

Again my most sincere apologies for the confusion and bad experience, this is not a normal situation and we do not like to delay our guests from enjoying their stays in the city.

Please take a moment and follow up with myself as I would like to make this right and allow us to show you nothing short of a perfect stay.

Location was great, price was great, staff was just okay. Fairly easy to find. Room was clean, but small; we were only there for one night so was not a big deal. At around midnight the fire alarm went off and we had to get dressed and go down 11 flights of stairs. No fault of the staff or management, but was a moment. I'm not sure if I would stay here again, but it was clean that's what mattered most in this situation.

Great location downtown. Room was really small but looked modern. You are walking distance from the downtown shops.

Heads up, there's no parking. You have to pay between $10 and $15 a day to park your vehicle. Also wifi was $8.95 per day per device.

Overall it was ok.
